The Lego Roman Legions are upon you, decked out in fancy outfits and snazzy shields!
About this creation
This is one of the historically-accurate Roman foot soldiers featured in my vignette Siege of Jerusalem. Minus the color of the helmet, these manly minifigs are considerably historically-accurate and quite colorful to boot. The shield, designed after extensive research, was made using cardboard. I found it amusing that the LegoŽ stud buttons match the metal "balls" found on authentic Roman shields, probably used as a support for the handle, a form of defense, and decor. Reviews are much appreciated.
