Twisting Tower II
This is the last skyscraper I'm going to build in LDD for a while. This tower is inspired from the Turning Torso (Sweden) and Infinity Tower (Dubai). It is also the completed version of a concept started a few months ago.
About this creation

The tower is 990' (297m) and has 74 floors. There are 1177 pieces. Every two floors, which are held together by three axles, twist 45 degrees.

These will be tallest buildings in Brickville. Each building demonstrates one of the four techniques found in all my buildings.

The tallest three. Can't wait to build these!

Quoting Mr. Xenomurphy I'm very much into skyscrapers at the moment and your work is stunning. I hope the rest of your pictures will be up soon again, so I can have a look at them. Great work.
Thanks! If you want to view a limited selection of some photos you can visit my flickr site http://www.flickr.com/photos/brickville/

Quoting Rocco Buttliere Wow Paul! Your new LDD towers will certainly give Brickville a truly innovative skyline! You should post this in the Lego skylines thread on skyscraperpage.com! When do you think you'll have these towers completed by? And just out of curiosity, what's the reason you prefer using the underside of 1x2 clear plates for a lot of your facades and not 1x2 clear tiles?
I won't have the funds to order the pieces for at least three weeks and depending on how classes go they won't be built for up to six weeks. As for using the underside of trans plates, I never really got into trans tiles, but the plates have a different look and feel that I really like (plus the the technique isn't used as often).
