Right, here's the second version of Big Jessie with a more slippery cockpit. The bulkhead is a little lower and the area behind the driver's seat has a teardrop profile.
Sir Stanley Pennington-Flash saw an extra 8mph, but the ride was twitchy due to the lack of down force. He much prefers driving the older version.
About this creation
The front end is unchanged for the most part. Just a couple of bits were swapped over to use elsewhere.
It's the rear end that has lost the superfluousness. However, I do prefer the older version because of the extra bits.
You decide which is the better Big Jessie. She's gone for bits now. Some Yankee Scoundrel not only took the Land Speed Record at Bonneville, he also ran off with Lady Rose, Sir Stanley's daughter!
Hi Iain. both versions are great but i prefer this one - it is more refined with the new seat and smoother rear end (never thought i would say that on mocpages ;). Glad you like the golf's door handles, i am particularly proud of them. I too have only just started building again - inspired by my kid's lego and duplo. I have started a father and son lego group would you be interested in joining? I will send an invite but no pressure to join. I love making alternatives also - the rescue robot is my current favourite.
