Detailed Daedalus from Stargate Atlantis
About this creation
I recently purchased Stargate Atlantis season 2 and watched all of it in one day. I got a renewed interest in the Daedalus after seeing it in action several times. So I gathered all of my resources and began work on a Daedalus. I didnt have enough pieces to make the whole ship in one color so I mixed them. I tried to make this one more detailed than the other Daedalus' that I made.
I really like the front end and the fighter bays, but I am going to change the back end a little soon. Tell me what you think.

   The new Daedalus fully detailed.

The three Daedalus' that I have. The new one, the old white one, and my mini.

The Daedalus is wider than the Prometheus because it has more engines.

The top covered with greebles. I couldnt be happier with the fighter bays.

I think I got the shape of the back almost perfect. I'm going to put bigger thrusters in the middle soon.

I'm also going to move the little "wings" back a few studs.

I wish the flaps on the sides were shaped a little different but I was a little pressed for pieces.

The main section with all the little doohickeys and thingymajigs.

   Shaft with greebles and stuff.

I tried to cram as much detail onto the flaps as I could.

like the ship...but watching one season of atlantis in a day is nothing. when you watch EVERY SINGLE episode of SG-1 in 3 weeks flat...you let me know...then you will have become a true stargate junkie...thats over 200 episodes at 42min and 55sec each...do the math. i watched the entire series in 3 weeks

This is a very good model. Tho you missed the Bridge section. I was looking on a Wikipedia site of the Daedalus-class ship and found out where it was. "The Bridge is located on the top of the forward section of the Daedalus, just aft of the VLS cells." If you watch SG-1 or Atlantis, you will see that the Bridge is just in front of the round section with the tower on it.

I have to say, you deserve respect. An Atlantis season is what 20-22 episodes. thats...15 - 16.5 hours. Your hardcore, more than my family.
