Sith Huntsman from pre-Republic era that I made up. This ship is used to hunt down and kidnap anyone wanted by the Sith Lords. The ship hovers, wings extended, over the city or area where the target is known to reside, while the Sith pilot uses his dark powers to zero in on their victim. Having pinpointed them, the Huntsman swoops down, changing to attack mode, giant pincers at the ready. Flying at breakneck speed on approach, the claws snatch the hapless victim, much like an egle plucking a fish from a lake.
The Huntsman then ascends back into the atmosphere or a remote cliff perch to interrogate their prey (or deliver them back to their master for other purposes...)If the suspect is unco-operative they are simply "let go" falling to their death. (Initially the victim was crushed in the grip of the pincers however Sith Lords didn't really like all that dried blood and guts all over their nice ship!)
Tried to make a really rough dovetail join on the face of the ship to keep the too sides held together a bit better but doesn't work 100%. Especially with the wings out.
Nice, very nice indeed. It rather reminds me of the Tales of the Jedi: Fall of the Sith Empire craft. It has a verry unique shape and excelant design and mechanics. But...it really does need a better figure, the skull doesn't look much like a Sith sorcerer. Thanks for the reveiws by the way.
NICE!! Thanks for the review, I'll wait until I have about 4 name ideas, and then I'll pick one. This thing you got here is super rad! So this is Pre-republic, eh? That's old!
Hey Shan, I see what you mean about the mandibles - but It bears only a passing resemblance to the IG 2000, This has got your own, unique stamp on it. I really like the multi vector wings and the unusual cockpit - Yet another wonder from down under! ;)
Well, I like it. Very interesting shapes on the cockpit and the wing-like things. I also notice you managed to get good photos. That's not easy on a black MOC! It really just says "Sith" to me, it has an. ...... evil look. My only criticism is that I think that the forward wings should come back a little bit more to give it balance. A good job.
