Well, is it my new big project?I'll see if I love It as much as Titan...
About this creation
I've quite advanced with her! I've modified the front a lot, making it higher.
The details you can see for now:(I might forget some)
- This has a bow propeller... it has been modified quite a lot! above that, on the front, a big stock for every goods necessary for the life aboard...
- 2 anchors with a winch
- It has a great home cinema, for crew's leisure!
- 16 beds
- 1 fully equipped kitchen
- 1 toilet
- 1 shower
- the captain has now his own room
- a cool staircase
- the engine room is started... I think I'm gonna add a gataway, above the engine room, over the reactors, etc! About the length, I'm just testing , but I think it's already too short!
- some waterproof walls with sas at strategic places.
This build is quite difficult, because I have to think all my structure to be openable on LDD. Those who know the program will know what I'm talkin about!(removable hatches, over others, because it will have several floors, inside the hull).
And of course, it has to be STRONG!
Thinking of the remaining... Still lot of work!!!
Already more than 6500 parts and... more than 1000€! :-S
Please feel free to comment!
=)

The more i see you build this i think the titan should be a support sub for this! Its just crazy that its bigger than the titan how are you going to lift it!?
I think it won't move easily(something like 40-50 kg... I'll do some more fitness! Or leave it on it's furniture... :-P |

Something is telling me that you are having a horrible time with lag on the program! Anyway, you seem to be making great progress!
NO I AM NOT! Not yet! I've got quite a good computer. At 6500 parts, it still can handle this! We'll talk about that arround 10000! ;-) |

Another thing, what are you going to make on the top, a giant fly bridge and a huge deck gun? You should start to make liferafts for these ships. Over all it is very cool! Can't wait until you finish, Good Luck!
Yes for the fly bridge(but armoured one).
Lifeboats are planned too. But it will be when I'll have finished the first and second floor(inside the hull) |

Really cool. I wish I could do that. I see you are about to finish the back because the sides are coming closer together!
Yes! I still don't know if it will be ok for the dimensions(length).
Such a wide hull has to be long enough! |

Well done, it's coming along very nicely! LDD is a great tool for large MOCs such as this, but I wouldn't order it through TLG, Bricklink is much cheaper by piece.
Yes, you're right! My Titan was by far too expensive, and I 'll have to try bricklink, this time... |

Wow! I think the only thing cooler than this ship is knowing that someday real ships this size will be commonplace at seaports worldwide. The only thing I'd be worried about it the red bit on the bottom not being strong enough in real life. Looks like it'd be easy to snap off.
Thanks! I'm confident for the front bulb, since this is something you usually see on big ships(better penetration in water, faster speed). =) |

Tu me demande de démonter complètement l'engin, là?! ;-) |
