Meanwhile, in the boss' office...
"Mr. Reed, I think we both know why you're in here. When I hired you as the mailroom manager, I expected you to organize and deliver mail in a timely manner. Instead, you show up late, if at all, and when you're here you work with the lethargy of a marijuana-addicted sloth! I need efficiency in this company, and all you've given me is a headache."
"You're FIRED!"
Well, I couldn't just build the first thing that came to mind, could I?
I tried to make this office space seem very 70's. Inspiration from the movie "Anchorman".
"Do you really love the lamp or are you just saying that because you saw it?"
Ostentatiously-colored furnishings and shag carpets.
The boss gets the best view.
And finally, the minifigs.
Well, that's all, folks! It looks like there's some pretty good competition this year, but I hope that I'll at least break last year's record of getting eliminated in round 2. Wish me luck!

As I said in the other You're Fired vigs, what sets yours apart is the empathy created for the character. Plus the details of the room, love the 70's look to it. Congrats! |

There are 2 things that caught my eye in this build, that pull string switch for the lamp and that wire for the desk lamp. That is some clever parts usage my friend! |

No, I really love the lamp. And the orange carpet (my parents had some like that, without the studs) and the desk lamp. And the expressions on the figs. I really thought you were in my fave builders, but that is now remedied. Good luck! |
