The five survivors noticed Michelle laying on small hill, clearly injured.
She was alive, but weak from lack of food and water.
Without warning, Eric began to run, heading away from the group.
"Where did you go?" asked Nate, "Like when the zombies came."
"I panicked," she said, "Ran away, it was a dumb idea," she said weakly.
Nate looked up, and saw four men running toward them.
Tabby helped Michelle up and began to run, Nate let off a few shots.
Eric was already ahead.
Suddenly, a bullet slammed into his back, and he slid in the wet grass, making a small blood path.
Christian knew he was dead, and knew they didn't have time to check to see if he was alive, or to carry him.
Nate shot off a few bullets, trying to slow the men.
Nate tripped as he stepped off an incline, almost slamming into some rocks.
They where at a dead end.
The soldiers raised their guns, ready to end 5 more innocent lives.
Suddenly, two zombies sprung out of the brush and tackled two soldiers.
Another came from the other side.
Soon, the soldiers where overwhelmed.
The only 2 that could get up ran away, leaving their fellow soldiers to die.
The zombies stood up afterward.
"Hello humans," one spoke, with perfect English.
