This is my first (and hopefully not my last) entry to the 2011 MOColympics.
About this creation
This is my entry for the Mocolympics round 1, A Snowflake! I chose Water as my categorie though I could have done winter too the snowflake is (Like Annie's) one of water's purest forms and was a perfect entry for me.
A bit of an artistic shotbut also my favorite.
The base without the snowflake.
Mark, I think you took a calculated risk for the water theme. The snowflake was a great concept, but just didn't carry enough surprise to push a somewhat small build to the next level. Thank you for sharing your take on the categories. ~Dave
Well, Iíve got good news and bad news. Letís start with the bad: you didnít make the top 64 to move on to round 2 (Your final score is 19). I know, bummer. BUT! The good news is: Hans Dendauw has organized the MIT tournament for those who placed between 65th and 128th. This is a fully recognized event the parallels the official MOC-Oís, just with a different set of contestants, and we encourage you to enter the group for more chances at great prizes!
