MocOlympics Round 1- Earth
To me Earth is defined by three things. This is a MOC showing those three features of our 4.54 billion year old planet.
About this creation
The Earth is as varied as it is beautiful. The first defining feature of our planet is it's most breath taking sites.

This is a scene of a small waterfall surrounded by rocks.

A waterfall is a typical example of how amazing the Earth can be.

Some detail in the rocks.

The second thing that makes the Earth what it is is the people who live on it.

For this feature I decided to show a scene of a Canadian Eskimo. I chose and Eskimo to represent the people of Earth in my MOC because I think they are so traditional and amazing. I think they symbolise what a human is.

I used SNOT for the water.

Detail on the ice.

The Third and final defining feature of our planet is the history that has forged the world.

I decided to feature remnants of the Roman Empire in this scene, as it was such a pivotal moment in human history.
The Romans brought new technology and knowledge to most of Europe, Asia and North Africa.
Rather ironically though, the knowledge they brought was soon lost during the barbarian invasion...

This is all of the vigs fitted together. To make my entry for the MocOlympics.

Commentary:
-I was going to do Fall and show the nasty remains of a guy hitting the floor. But sadly that has already been done...
-I hope what I said in this MOC made sense. I'm kind of in a rush to upload it.

Any tips and advice will be greatly acknowledged.

And if your competeting, I whish you the very best of luck.

Nice job on these, but I agree with Dave about focusing on the single vig, and expanding on that. But they're well constructed, and look great!

"I used SNOT for the water." - That sounds wrong.

Mr. Gypsy, I think Earth, and the Eskimo was a good way to go. You have some nice builds. I would have liked to see you give us a more complete picture of the Eskimo fishing scene maybe with his mode of transportation, other animals, etc. Thank you for sharing your take on the categories. ~Dave

Quoting Matt David Well, Iíve got good news and bad news. Letís start with the bad: you didnít make the top 64 to move on to round 2 (Your final score is 20). I know, bummer. BUT! The good news is: Hans Dendauw has organized the MIT tournament for those who placed between 65th and 128th. This is a fully recognized event the parallels the official MOC-Oís, just with a different set of contestants, and we encourage you to enter the group for more chances at great prizes! You can find the group here: http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/18342
That's too bad. I will compete in the MIT. Thanks for the info.

Nice concept and I hope you progress! Good use of SNOT for the vigs wżth water in, but if you could've made the waterfall flatter and taller it would have been more eye-catching. I think the Eskimo vig is my favourite.

Quoting Zac . Nice but the term Eskimo is raciest but I like it and its a unique idea. The rocks could do with more texture.
I already considered it and I have come to the conclusion that it is not racist. If there are any Yupiks or Inuits on MOCpages who find this offensive I will change it.

Nice vigs. The waterfall looks a bit too much like bleu stairs. A pillar would have been nice with the Roman remnants?! Good luck with your judges.

All of them look great, the SNOT makes the water brilliant and the land around it is very detailed :D Good luck in the M.O's

Inuites (eskimo means eater of raw flesh) are nt what the humanity is (that would be perverted zombies of dying culture), but what it SHOULD be (cultural and traditional individual people, who lend their wives to travellers passing by)
