The 5-wide F40 built by Rhys' Pices transformed into a 4-wide MOC

About this creation

Right when I saw the original 5-wide F40 I thought about how it would look like in 4-wide.

So I gave it a try in LDD and made a 4-wide version of it. It only needed some minor changes: Mainly I shrinked the middle part of the car from 3-wide to 2-wide. The center of the roof remained 3-wide with an offset of half stud to the rest of the model. The rear arcs are black now and I had to say Goodbye to the exhaust pipe.

The rest of the model is mainly the original design. I think it works really well in 4-wide, too.

I liked both details, but I think instead of the two arcs two of the vents would do fine. And you could try to put the exhaust, too, but then the diffusor wouldn't look well.

Wow, I feel honored to have someone make something influenced by one of my creations :D So thankyou. You were right, it does look good in 4-wide :) It's a shame that the vents and exhaust in the rear had to be skipped out, but I guess that's the perils of working at a small scale. Great work.
