Hi guys! My latest creation is a little homage to the original Rx-78 Gundam mixed with a few of my other favourite gundams like the Duel, Gp01, 00, MkII, Rx-79 land type. So this is another "fan-made" Gundam.
About this creation
Background:
This is the prototype mobile suit that the Corsair was based of. It has double the firepower, and it's equipped with various experimental weaponry.

Head detail (rear)

Shoulder detail with thrusters and missle luncher pack

"Scorpion" Experimental Beam Machine Turret

Chest detail and Twin Vulcans

Experimental long range Beam Rifle

rifle detail

leg detail

The backpack, storing 2 beam sabers and a wide array of thrusters

Gundam in action: swiftly eliminating the stolen Corsair's pilot by striking the cockpit. The helpless machine shoots the ground.

The Beam Saber melts away everything in its path

gunfire detail

Yes...they ARE ice-creams!

The half-melted backpack of the corsair

bird's eye view

Gundam using all thrusters to fly up

The Gundam engages it's new target!
But who is this invisible foe aiming back at the Gundam??

I'll reveal it next time! Untill then, thanks for watching!

Quoting Mithryl Dlarix I like all the effort you are going to with all the beam effects parts and so forth. Posing these things is difficult, no?
Well, lately my models have their parts seperated into groups, thus it's a lot faster to pick them apart, position some joints and place the parts back in the new position.

I can't find a way to improve this, excellent work! My favorite part of this is the feet actually. Because the feet on this are very well done for gundam builds, and feet are something I can't do too well. Hope to see some more stuff soon.

Quoting Jesse Long Is this an actual LEGO MOC or is it one in LDD format, Thomas Z.? Anyway, it's a nice job either way.
Except for two, all of my MOC's are LDD MOC's as I don't have too much lego parts yet, but maybe one day I'll get some and build one of these.

Quoting Mike C Amazing amazing work my friend. Excellent work. All these awesome Mech suits you design you should try building a mech bay. It would look awesome to see them all ready to go in a two or three mech bay. Just an idea i'm throwing out to you.
I already started building one, right after I finished the Corsair but it's far from complete. Maybe I'll build a whole base with fence, watch towers and all that stuff but right now there is only the hangar without the roof...

A Large Amount Of Thought Was Put Into This MOC, But I Already Expected That From You. The Gundam, And The Unit Based On It, Were Nicely Designed, Very Detailed, And Look Very Clean. The Presentation Is Very Nicely Done, As Someone Who Makes Action Scenes In LDD, I Know Just How Much Effort Went Into Making Those Scenes. Again, Very Nice Job With This.

Quoting aabbee 150 dude! that is awesome! the detail is tremendous and those golden wrenches are ace!
Well it's far from the amount of detail you put into your MOCs, but thanks a lot! If you like this one, then check out my other MOCs too. I'm sure you'll find more detailed ones than this :P

Quoting Winter Nis This gundam version is great! The land-use variant is particularly beautiful. I see that you used radiator grilles for the torso design, it fits perfectly here! I hope (and I'm pretty sure ;P) that your "mysterious" next unit will be as awesome as this one.
Glad you liked them! About the other machine I'll only tell that it's also a Gundam. Right now I'm making new poses and maybe a smaller dio for the presentation, so I'll need a little time before posting it.
