About this creation
Photos of this morning's 9/11/2001 ten-year anniversary ceremony.

On the morning of September 11, 2011, the sky was clear and blue. It was a beautiful day. It was the same way on that fateful morning ten years ago. Then, that beautiful blue sky turned to the darkest night.

"An airplane has hit the World Trade Center, and that's all we know..."

At 8:46 AM, a hijacked airplane hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center. American Airlines Flight 11 was hijacked out of Logan Airport and flown into World Trade Center 1.

"Today, we've suffered a national tragedy..."

At 9:02 AM, United Airlines Flight 175 hit the South Tower. United 175 was also hijacked out of Logan Airport.

"A second plane hit the second tower. America is under attack..."

At 9:37 AM, American Airlines Flight 77 impacted the Pentagon. American 77 was hijacked out of Dulles Airport.

"People were on those planes who just began their lives, like children..."

At 10:03 AM, United Airlines Flight 93 crashed into a field in Shanksville, PA. United 93 was hijacked out of Newark International Airport. The passengers of United 93 attempted to take back control of the aircraft, leading the hijackers to crash it into the field before they could take control. The passengers of United 93 saved countless lives that day. They left their fight immortalized in two words: "Let's Roll."

The events of September 11, 2001 are burned into the minds of millions of individuals, including mine. I will never forget. 2,976-343-23-37

I live about 60 miles from the Flight 93 National Memorial site, and I am hopefully going to all three 9/11 memorial sites soon.

Great job on this. I did a report on 9/11, and read the federal report, so I know just about everything. Never forget, always remember, 9/11. 2,976-343-23-37

Very good ceremony. BCVFD's hearts go out to all who died on that fateful day. I know people hate Osama Bin Laden but everyone forgive him. In the bible it says thet everyone shall forgive each other no matter how bad they have hurt us. Osama Bin Laden didnt know what he was doing when he ordered this attack. But this is a new day, instead of cussing and swearing at Osama, just forgive him and move on. For all of the 9/11 families I know how hard it is. But never forget that day but also never forget that we are a stronger country now and will be forever. So I ask and hope all of you forgive him for what he's done. I wish I could have stopped it and I also DO NOT support the islams. I wanted him dead to but I learned to forgive and move on. When you read this give a 2 minute moment of silence for all of the FDNY, NYPD, and all who died that day. Thank you for listening. Rest In Peace 9/11.

wow! how nice your city collection has turned! i can t wait until you have more hair for your figs, it can t be a city of bald men, and that great window tower, adding some meat to it would make it really something, as for the terraforming manufacture, a little more details,a delivery truck, a prototype of condensator would finish it nicely, just a few ideas that come to mind looking at this growing legend! very nice james!
