Moc Olympics Round 1
Sometimes, even the strongest need a shoulder to cry on...
About this creation
Somewhere in the Outer Rim Territories, an Imperial I-Class Star Destroyer continues its hunt for the last remnants of the Jedi Order.

On one of the many lower decks, stormtroopers and mouse droids go about their daily business. Preparations are made for yet another planetary search in an exhaustive effort to wipe out the Jedi; and cast the galaxy forever into darkness.

But in a quiet corner, at one of the many water coolers dotted around the ship, two fathers spend some time together.

A time to reflect, and perhaps for just a fleeting moment, to share their emotions.

My 'water' MOC for Round One of the 2011 MOC Olympics is a tongue in cheek look at the lighter side of galaxy domination. Darth Vader and an unnamed Stormtroop spend some time together and enjoy a cool cup of water as they begin to show their caring sides in discussing the difficulties of Imperial fatherhood.

Out of something like 650-750 bricks, the water aspect uses ony three bricks, althought it is central to the conversation and the MOC. At least that's how I hope the judges see it!

This is a great build, well detailed, and with a Far Side sense of humor! The only negative, not feeling the category so much. Anyway, nice work, Dude!

Thanks all for the comments so far. Yes, it's a completely tenuous link to water, but I won't sulk too much if I get eliminated, I chose to do it!

Excellent build and photography! But it might be a tad of a stretch of the category. We'll see what the judges think, and thats all that counts.
