Daddy's Army
My army to protect my castle in 'Basementonia'.
About this creation
This is my army to protect my castle from the children's invading armies.

Currently the army is 99 strong and consists of:
3 Female assassins
3 Male assassins
10 Queen's guards (female)
5 King's guards - double katana
5 King's guards - mace & shield
8 Foot soldiers - sword & shield
8 Foot soldiers - crossbow
20 Castle guards - crossbow
8 Foot soldiers - pike
8 Foot Soldiers - axe
8 Foot Soldiers - scimitar & shield
10 Cavalry (female)
1 King
1 Queen
1 Wizard

I need to expand the castle guard to cover the castle (still under construction) from all of it's defense points. However, several other projects are absorbing capital at this time.

Please excuse the poor focal depth of the pictures - still trying to figure out how to take a decent picture ;-)

Again, all parts from Bricklink

The archers fire the first volley at the approaching/defending enemy, then fall back to their regular firing positions. This gives the infantry an opportunity to attack while the enemy regroups. This is my theory, anyway. Of course, I'd rather drop a tachyon bomb then kick back with cold one and watch them suffer. But that's just me.

'''alex willetts December 19, 2008 is this an actual army, or is it just the collection of men to defend your castle? cause if it is an actual army, why do you have your pikes at the back and your archers at the front?''' BEACUASE THE ARCHERS HAVE LESS RANGE TO FIRE AT!

I guess its a MOC. There are a lot of men though, but a smaller pic would be better.

It isn't a MOC. But still a great amount of minifigs.
