Episode 5- the finale
About this creation
The five survivors lay on the small hill, the sun had just risen.
Suddenly, a truck of some sort came driving in, a turret mounted on top.
Nate and Christian dove for cover on the other side of the hill.
Adam was a little slower, and took a bullet in the back.
Michelle, Nate and Tabby stayed put, trying to avoid the turret's deathly sprays of bullets.
Christian let off e few shots, but was met with no success.
Adam's gun was just a few inches from Michele's grasp.
She crawled toward it, and grabbed it.
She let off some shots at one of the soldiers.
One of them went down.
But the turret was quick to respond, firing off another round.
Michele took a hit and went down.
Christian crawled around, trying to get to Nate and Tabby.
He got in the water, swimming around.
He crawled onto land next to the others.
"Okay, this is it," Christian said,"1....2....3!"
They both stood up, and fired what they could at the turret.
The gunner went down before he could fire any off.
Another man came out of the trunk, trying to finish off the men.
But soon, he went down.
The driver tried to drive away, fleeing his dead comrades.
But Christian caught up, and fire several shot at him.
He then drug the man out.
And set him next to his comrades.
Christian got in the front.
While Nate manned the turret.
And tabby took the back.
10 years later......
Tabby looked over at Nate.
"I still have nightmares about it," she said, referring to the apocalypse.
"I do to," Nate said,"But at least we lived."
A small fire was lit to keep them warm.
Christian lay on the bed, looking over at the young boy in the bed next to him.
The boy looked up at the ceiling as Christian, who he considered to be his grandfather, retold him the story of AFTERMATH.
"Then, you're father says, 'did that zombie just talk?'," Christian said.
The young boy laughed as he always did when that part was told, the laughter could be heard from the parents room, just next door.
"I think this will do," said Joseph, as they stopped in front of the house.
And there they settled, just outside of the city, only miles from where Bob and many others died. But they didn't know this, nor did they need to know, because this would be their home, forever.
Epilogue
Tabby and Nate got married and had one child (the young boy above) 1 year after the fateful day Michele and Adam where killed. They named their son Christian Junior, in honor of Christian (Senior). They lived in the outdoors until Christian died at age 91. After this, Nate almost 50 by then, took a journey too the city and found that the zombies had been destroyed, and America was being re-built. They moved to the city next door to a family who had two kids. The parents names where Joseph and Ashely.
Joseph and Ashely got married just 1 year after they moved into the house, and almost the exact day (1 year later) Jones sacrificed himself for them. After several years, the British army came to america to help finish off the zombies. A few years after that, an older couple, Tabby and Nate, moved in next door. Both families lived in the same house until they where to old to live there.
This is the story of 9 survivors, this is the story of survival, this is AFTERMATH
