Really smooth and stylized, great curves and bends. Are all of those chrome pieces from sets, or did you have to paint a few?
Thank you. I used mirror foil on the main engine cone. I bought the rest on BL (Chromebricks). |

Did you shape the ship around that windshield? If you did, that was a smart idea because it really flows with the rest of it.
That's exactly what I did. I bought those parts from an Italian guy and it was really hard to get them in mint condition. They are the "heart" of the ship. |

Loving that touch of chrome you added! It definitely has that retro 50's space look. Those collectible robots are a perfect match as well! Did you shape the ship around that windshield? If you did, that was a smart idea because it really flows with the rest of it. No studs is also a clean touch to this build as well. Nice work! Can't wait to see more! |

Hans already mentioned it and I have never seen an episodes of BSG. I just googled it and found (among a lot of manga characters) a white viper with a red stripe. |

It almost looks like a Chibi Viper from BSG, totally sweet! It bums me out whenever I here about the overwhelming abundance of Series 1 figs that were available in Europe; I remember Stu saying that they were at his grocery store! We got a total of 2 boxes here in Southern Oregon, from which I managed 8 of the 16 figs and had to CrackLink the rest. *sigh* ~H |

Sweet, where did you get all the robots?
I was lucky enough to buy them when they first appeared on the market in summer of 2010. One store here in Paderborn had tons of them. I never expected that they'd become so expensive after such a short time, otherwise I'd bought even more (especially zombies). |

It's not that hard to be self-obsessed; just tell yourself that other people actually CARE about what you do.
Uh-oh, possible language barrier misunderstanding? I didn't mean self-obsessed when I mentioned Bart and Dennis (that's something negative, right?). On the contrary, I admire them for being able to work on one theme for such a long time. I tend to get bored very soon and start something else. |

Legofreak's got the right idea. Although a Bricklink order doesn't require me to do any traveling. In all seriousness though, excellent MOC! The spacious, round windshield combined with the white and chrome simply scream classic, 50's spacecraft. Very few people can pull off the retro look like you have. |
