"Name.. Harry Potter... Crime...
- It was only a bit of Mud!
- It's only a bit for you boy, but to me it's an extra hour scrubbing!"
About this creation
Here is my entry for the second round of the Harry Potter contest! This scene is a 100% based on the scene from the book, as it was cut from the film. The scene takes place in Filch's Office (Duh!) when Harry, after a Quidditch training gets catched by Filch when he tries to go back to his commonroom while drippin mud all over the place. Filch then takes him to his Office to punish Harry. But Peeves saves the day by throwing the vanishing cabinet on the floor, just above Filch's office. The caretaker is distracted and grabs his chance to finally have Peeves expelled.
Although I consider this entry to be less good than the first one, I still entered this just for the fun of entering! The office is losely based on the book's description and several notable pieces of furniture can be found in this creation. Like the book, the office contains the usual desk, the wooden filings cabinets and the polished the chains.

A close-up of Filch's ugly face. Ready to write his punishment form, he hurries to clean up his desk and close the small drawer behind his back, containing some very personal information.

In fact, that particular "information" is a Kwikspell letter. A simple way of learning spells, dedicated to Squibs.
The Oil lamp, who hangs from the ceiling in the book, has been moved to a little stoned ledge. I made sure to include a Power Function to give the scene some extra creepiness!!
Please tell me what you think of the creation and don't forget to like or dislike depending on your personnal opinion!!!
Good luck to everybody in the contest!

This is a lot of fun! Very simple, but very well-done. Nice job especially with the mud and the power function!
Good luck with the other judges! |
