Jovian
Spec Ops frigate.
About this creation
The Jovian is a 'Systems' class Special Operations frigate. She is one of about 20 that are in operation, and possibly the most famous for reasons to be explained.
The 'Systems' class SOF is essentially the space equivalent of a nuclear submarine, operating mostly under the radar. The ships are also one of the most technologically advanced when it comes to stealth. These vessels are the only capital ships capable of cloaking, and to top it off, they also have a masking field generator for all times.

Statistics:
Armament: 3 Heavy forward laser cannons, 2 medium pulse laser turrets
Shields: Military grade 8
Armour: 6 inch titanium-aluminium plating, 2mm tungsten lining
Cruising speed: 1250kmh
Warp speed: 20/20
Other: Type II Cloaking device (Fully invisible)
Masking field generators
Long/Short range sensors
Mission-specific payload
Atmospheric stabilising winglets

The vessels are also the single fastest capital ships in existance, all due to the extreme power supply. The 4 conical units mounted externally each contain a power core, all of which complement the main reactor which is mounted internally.

While the weapons system isn't the most advanced, lasers are still one of the most effective weapons, remaining consistent at huge ranges. They also require very little power in comparison to other weapons.
However, in certain situations, the payload of the ship can be an extra turret or some missile/torpedo pods, or even a nuclear bomb for planetary bombardment.

Airlock.

The payload is mission-specific. Usually, an early warning satellite is connected to the underside of the main hull, but, as mentioned earlier, they aren't the only piece of equipment that can be mounted. The second most common attachment is an Exothermic bomb, which is the mainstay non-nuclear planetary bombardment weapon. There are many more attachments, but these are the most common.

Satellite active. Note the defensive turret on the top.

Alteration thruster.

Interior of the main deck. There are 5 crew members on each 'Systems' class.

Payload control.

Bunk, water dispenser, medical, plant specimen (for oxygen purposes, secondary O2 recycling)

Engineering.

View down into the command cabin.

The fleet as it currently stands.

WARNING! STORY ALERT!

As mentioned earlier, the Jovian is the most famous vessel of its class. This vessel was used by the Fleet Admiral and 4 other crew to infiltrate into Blacktron territory along with 5 other light frigates. As territory was claimed by the friendly fleet, more friendly forces appeared to ensure no loss of control, eventually including the command ships 'Trafalgar' and 'Jerusalem'. Amazingly, no severe casualties were sustained to the friendly fleet. Upon reaching the Blacktron homeworld, after a short battle, the enemy forces surrendered after having witnessed nuclear weapons being dropped on one of their colonies and not wishing for the same loss of life. This operation saw to the end of the war against the Blacktron, and also saw a crippling blow to the insurrectionist forces as a side effect.
This side battle didn't involve the Jovian, but the 2 command ships. The insurrectionist forces had stolen a warp gate and sent 600 Shuriken swarm fighters through to destroy the command ships. But the quick thinking of the friendly fleet lead to the destruction of both the warp gate and all 600 Shurikens.

End notes:
I consider this to be one of my best capital ships yet in terms of exterior looks and detail. I'm not to bothered about the interior. Anyway, I thought I'd put this up seeing as it's been sat there for a few weeks now. Oh, and what do you think of it all?

I didn't expect this to be minifig scale, but I like it better this way. Nice work.

I love it! It reminds me a bit of some classic space shapes and designs. And what I could have built, being younger! =)

Well done! Not the biggest frigate for this scale, but a well-detailed build.

Wow, nice! I agree with the person under mm, even though I don't have classic space. Moreover, I love your creating style. All the creations have similar style and it looks very nice when you gather them all
