This second revision features improve pneumatic system, better power take-off, chassis improvements and more robust three-point hitch.

About this creation

The pneumatic distribution was updated to provide outlets to the front for implements such as a front loader.

The working steering wheel was improved by replacing the knob gears with double-bevel gears. The knob gears had a tendency to stick.

The cab now features four pneumatic levers, one to control distribution front and rear, one for controlling the three-point hitch, and the two yellow topped levers for controlling front implements that can have two independent functions.

The new pneumatic connectors from the Unimog set have proved very useful - just need one more!

The rear chassis was improved by making use of the new steering axle frame from the Unimog to better support the rear wheels. The reworked three-point hitch can be seen here too.

The two pneumatic connectors on the left are to power a rear implement. The one on the right is the input from a pump to pressurise the system - I didn't want to build the spring hand pump into the model. The power take-off was also improved, both in look and function, making connecting of PTO shafts easier.

New lights on the front! The exhaust and mudguards where redesigned to allow implements to be fitted to the front and still keep a full turning movement.

awesome! you should try making it 4wd. I am in the process of making mine 4wd I almost had it then it fell apart. I hope to finish it before thanksgiving which gives me 1 1/4 days to do it. I also got tired of the red so I changed it to blue to resemble a New Holland Boomer. -Ma$on Mc]{echn!e

Yes - I put an "air in" connector on the back of the tractor. This gives me the option to build a motorised pump that can be disguised as a rear implement, either mounted on the three-point hitch, or on a trailer etc. For the moment, I just hold a Lego hand pump on a long tube!

Good stuff. Like all the pneumatic pto's and especially the solution for the rear shaft pto using the CV joint axle; very compact and realistic. Cabin steering was the first thing I also added to my 8063 and 8284 ;-). Is my conclusion correct that there is no integrated air pump?
