Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86, aka one of the best classic drifters out there. And back then Toyota was reliable!
About this creation
Now it just needs a tow truck... hmmm....

Le front! The headlights do pop up...

...Later

The side view, the front wheels will steer here and there as the photo's move along.

Artsy shot, there should be an exhaust pipe with muffler visible, but my photography denied me that simple thing.

Appropriate state license plate.

The name's Door Handles...

...Working Door Handles.

And a heap of functional goodies.

The hood has it's own prop, the trunk doesn't.

The trunk, good for smuggling joltiks transporting teh Pokemons.

Working inline 4.

And working headlights

Doors my just be my favorite part, for once they look totally real.

Sun visors. I went there.

Adjustable reclining seats, adjustable steering wheel, glovebox, 3 speed manual tranny, fake parking brake, full "guages", radio and other goodies

Almost makes me wish it was real... hopefully Scion will make that dream com true with the FR-S. Oh please please please

I was planning to scrap this and make something newer... but I don't think I can.

Double wishbone on stiff shocks for the front, 4 link "limited slip" diff. stiff shock suspension for the back. 3 speed manual trannsmission, and working steering wheel, the entire fake exhaust pipe... yep, I think I got it all.

Rear 4 link and diff. Just like the real thing. Except the diff. needs more rubber bands to prevent slipping. Feel free to try it and use it on your own supercars/ trial trucks/etc.

This is absolutely amazing! The only way that it could be better would be if it was white and had 15" Watanabe wheels. But that's just cosmetic. This is easily the best 86 on MOCpages. A very accurate model :) |

...And it's here! Actually, it's better than I thought it would be...I don't know why. :) Anyway, I love the "anti-SNOT", the doors, and all those other cool stuff - you know? Bah! I'm going to have to give you a 4/5 because you cheated for the trunk support! Ahh...never mind...you know what I'm going to say - easily 5/5. |

Oh snap! XL scale - check, full stud bodywork - check, working Technic features - check. Awesomey awesome job. The interior is as excellent as the bodywork, and it all works (and you know how much I like working models). The only area for improvement I can see is the rear wheel arch 'gap' - but that only stands out as the rest of this is so perfect. A big ol' 10 out of 10. One of the best cars on MOCpages this year. |

Uaow!!!!! amazing!!! , I am building a technic big body, and 2 technic touring cars, RC and all in panels, but this type of modelling is perfect for make a concrete model. You made a perfect render of this car also, if you see in little size it seems a pixelated picture of the car. I love all the car but my favourite lines is the front. Great job man!!! Congratulations!!! 5stars**** !!! |
