This is my heavily modified assault version of lego's Clone Turbo Tank, set 8098.
About this creation
This is my modified turbo tank. i used lego's skeleton and outer skin but then i made many improvements. First things first, if this was a tank, what's a tank without BIG gun? I took the design of the Battle of Genosis proton cannon made some tweaks and used that for the BIG gun. Then i went all around and changed all the outer weapons by upgrading them or adding additional weapons. The cockpit areas were meh at best so those were overhauled. I saw the older version had an engine room where the weapon rack is on this version, so i thought i wanted to include that somehow and since there was a little room next to the troop bay i made an engine room there and turned the weapon rack room to a medical bay/ holding cell. The wheels of these tanks are awful, i noticed that if you didn't add the dish "hub caps" they looked pretty neat, like a star type pattern. i made a couple mods there as well. Finally we have the troop bay, which housed a command center and an at-rt. Those were both removed, instead i added an armory, a hangar with a hybrid walker/hard suit and a grappling hook winch. This area can hold the suit and like 5-6 clones, each cockpit can hold a max of 5 clones as well. Lights were added for that cool look, lol. i really love how this turned out, so much better than the stock version. It is now worthy of being named Juggernaut!!
Left side...

Right side...

Gun, big gun...

Front, gotta have a legal plate or get a ticket lol...

Rear shot, also has a license plate :)

Here is my upgraded turret and you can see the heat seeking SAM's

The engine room where once nothing existed...

Medic bay and/or holding cell...

Rex tending to one of his wounded troops..

Here is Rex and the ARF trooper making sure the walker is ready to go...

Rear cockpit more of the same, gotta have lots to look at when stuck in here...

The hybrid suit as it looks once deployed from tank..

Armed to the teeth , able to shred the clankers ranks quickly...

Suit side view...

With no guns, able to do many things that normal clones aren't able...

How the lights in the cockpit look...

Left side troop bay with the green light to attack...

Right side with lights on

Hope you enjoyed this, thanks to lego, artifex creations for the lights and you for looking. ~cheers

Awesome. I wonder how you modded it though, it can't be that freakin' huge cannon on the top. (sarcasm) |

I don't care about the accuracy with starwars(fed up with all that star wars stuffs, but I like some customized ones!), but that big canon helps it to be threatening, and it seems to have more systems and details that the original set! |

It,looks like a droid tank! Don't take offense but i think it just looks weird please no offense i think you could but the red back on it and put the normal hub caps back on and it would look really coog because the cis color is gray and blue look at the atat set look at their ships gray and blue while the republic is white gray and red check out my mods on the tank i really like how it gives it more room to move http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/286408 |

Nice work, although the cannon looks a little too big now, especially when extended up.
I know, I wanted it to be able to aim anywhere and after almost a full day of messing with different ideas I moved on... I might change the rig that holds it. Thanks for comments :-) |
