Well here is my new and hopefully last Snowspeeder. With my last verison the main issue was the nose section. At first I didnt know how to do it but then I discovered that using angled pieces as you see in a later picture, I was able to get a decently angled panel. So here it is.
About this creation
NOTE: I give credit for the nose section, guns, and engines to The Pied Pauper. I think I spelled it corectly. They arent his designs 100% but the inspiration and origional ideas are his. So Thank You.
The front of the ship. Here you see the new nose section.
Here is an angled view.
Here is the cockpit with pilot controls, headrest, Luke, And Dac.
Here is a larger picture of the cockpit.
Here is the rear grill. Nothing changed there.
The new engines. Unfortunately I couldnt add the upper air brake flap. My new engines are too small for it.
The mid gun section. I used a few odd pieces there to get everything to sit there nicely.
The gunners weapon. Not much to say there.
And this is how I did the nose paneling. You may use this technique but please give credit. Sorry for the few pictures of it but it isnt that hard to figure out.. I hope.
And this little thing. I cut a few Lego stickers but there isnt a rule against that is there? It is technically purist pieces, just edited to fit my needs.
Again Im sorry that I didnt have a more detailed picture of the nose panels. But If you want I will try to explain it. OK, First you need one of those 1x2's with the clip part on the short end. the one that hooks in with a U clip part. Then you use the U clip piece, one stud, and a 1x3 angle. you put the stud in the hole on the back of the 1x3. Thats about it. Hope it helps.
Well there it is. I hope you enjoyed it. Remember to come back soon to see whats new.
