A replacement for the standard Hero pack.
About this creation
I created this alternate Hero Pack since I'd usually run out of room to hold monsters, etc. It's built in the shape of a tower, on a 6x6 base, made of bricks found in the Nathuz set.
The front has a shelf (color-coordinated with the Hero) to hold health points, and some side-studs to hold a Level indicator. (The Hero is Level 3 in the example picture).

There is a small clip on each side of the tower. The left is to hold the active melee weapon, and the right is to hold the active ranged weapon. (If a player has more than one weapon or device, I make them choose one to put in the clip. You can change at any time before you roll, but if you roll a Shield, it activates the one in the clip).

The back view has a top shelf for small items (potions, etc), a middle shelf for tall items (torches), and a 3x6 area on the baseplate to hold gold, treasures, and defeated monsters.

Looks great and I like the idea of only allowing one weapon of each type to be active. |

OMG! I would build it if i could built it but i can't build so its easier to say i wont because i would disable my Nathuz and build that, but I'm so attached to my Lego i can't break any models unless its to build better ones (not saying yours is bad I'm saying i would need something to replace Nathuz) BTW, HEROICA RULES! |

Whoa, great idea! You could make a custom fig to represent your microfig, and it would be WAY COOL! LOVE IT! |

Very neat, but what if you are not playing with Hero's leveling up? Anyways, I love the design! |

I really like the idea of using the dice face for levels. It makes the whole structure look very castle like as well. I know with the custom box that Lego came out with they included a chest that attached to the bottom of the heropack. I wonder if they plan to expand it into anything like this. Perhaps also you could put a minifig on the plate to represent the hero and place armor on it as well as the weapons. Maybe a good way to bring the minifigs into the game. |
