I never thought they were girls either. Perhaps it has something to do with a) I know several Aussies personally, b) I've kept up with the adventures of SigOcean Figgy, c) Their humor is just too blunt and crude for a girl to possibly be behind it *rolls eyes*. Anyway, this Australian Army based on animals is a great idea and one of my favorites on this page. Kudos on MOTD. |

This is the funniest MOC of the day commentary ever. I never thought either of the Shannons were girls and I'm not sure why... must be a tribute to their manly MOCing. Anyway, congrats Ocean! |

Whoa, dredging one up from out of the archives! Back before "Shannon Ocean" was a household name among Lego geeks! Before the fame, the groupies, the internet radio interviews, the movie deals! Before Cyborg Race Ships were even a twinkle in their creator's eye! Before all that, there was just a guy with a girl's name down in Australia with some Lego and a digital camera, making squiddy mechs and tantalizing us with flashes of the sustained brilliance that was to come. |

Nice. I love the concept! Great build, and the tentacles are beautiful. I might have to plagiarize the idea! I wonder why the head is backwards, though..... |

I'm sorry to say the coast guard would not have that mech, it would be painted haze grey and under the authority of the Navy. Navy always the cooler toys. |

Very unique concept...very well executed. Some people may frown at the Bionicle style joints, but I think they help give it a fluid organic look...nice work! |
