I really like the playability aspect of the MOC - that's a nice touch. I also think there's a standard size in our minds for microscale, and this to me, breaks away from that just a bit...falling somewhere between the typical micro-city we so often see, and minifig scale. The down side for me was the environment for our characters, and the textural inconsistency of the MOC. The studs on the top of the MOC were almost as large as the characters. I think a smoother surface would have worked better (as you did with the interior). It was a close one, but my vote also goes to your opponent. A nice entry to go out on, though. Not a win...but well played all the same!
Some cool micro-action going on and the hidden base adds a great playability feature. I would have liked to have seen a bit more work on the city, but the warring factions are nicely done. Better luck next time.~H
Got excited when you opened it up! Would have loved to see a city the same size and scope as above existing under the surface but that would have been really hard to do. Great idea and sweet build. Good luck!
Mr. Magma, I really like your take on the category and the scale you chose to build at. The suits and vehicles are all nicely designed. I would have liked to see more of an environment build for this battle to exist in, and in the end, that's what ultimately swayed my vote to your opponent.
