From the Vintage 2010 Collection

About this creation

One of my earlier studs up mosaics I built in the spring of 2010. I'm not a football fan ...certainly not a Cardinals fan, but I always liked this logo, I find it visually striking and just 'cool' in general.

A dear friend of mine came to a local show where this was being displayed and instantly fell in love with my cardinal, mentioning how awesome it would look on his desk at work. Before he was finished with his sentence, I had placed this mosaic in his hands and thanked him for sticking by me for so many years.

I always thought the beak looked a little like Grandpa Simpson's mouth, but this is some fine work. I wish you hadn't posted this, it kind of blows your image as a a socially backward angry rock star kind of guy.

I just don't follow football, though I would like to see them do better. I'll root for the home team if a game is on, but my loyalty begins and ends there. I don't see myself at a game with a foam finger any time soon.
