Just the only shots of a current WIP which will be no more after this posting...
About this creation
In the main pic you can see my current work bench, while some of the house gets sorted out. In the front of it is my latest flop - the Wisp Fighter - I was breaking records with it! 5 ILI in 12 hours... My excuse, its a marathon runner not, not the type of MOC to hit the ratings at pace...
In the below image is most of my Lego storage/sorting. I will go further with this once my sorting is complete (I need a few more draw units).
You may be asking why do I have one drawer unit on top of the white bins... Its not there permanently, about to change it all around so the Draw units (9x) will be in a 3x3 stack, with the white bins sitting on top of them.
The Spongebob sets at the bottom were random gifts I bought for my Fiance Mel. She said she would never own Lego unless it was Spongebob sets, so I did the only thing for it and got her a couple. She has yet to post them...
Low and behold the Wisp Fighter did have one good thing come from it - Ian Spacek's comment about enjoying my more scenic Mocs sparked some inspiration - and so comes the end of my current WIP. Cheers!
These last two pics are of the current build which will be current no longer. After breaking it down I will start work on a build which I can actually finish. No more BL orders for a few more months! *Cries*
I like the White and Gold colour scheme - it seems very royal and important, great for some eye popping scenery! Also on my bench are a few more bags from the latest BL orders which still need to get sorted. Just waiting on 100x 2x2 45° Invert slopes and 500x 1x1x1 white rounds. Then my next build can start to form :)
For those wondering, I topped my bamboo pieces back up after leaving 400 of them in the form of vines... Hopefully I can get more use from those vines they were time consuming to put together.
Looks good, nice to see you trying out some space themed builds. The building looks interesting to, I like the gold and white colourscheme, I've noticed you have used it a few times and it works well. Bricklink is terribly addictive!

That build looks nice indeed, gold and white works, you can always do that later too I suppose. hmmmm, I could use some of those dark tan plates :P
I'm still going to use the colour scheme - as you say it works. I'm going to go for tall towers with some supporting buildings and surroundings. Its those 8x8 Drk Tan plates prohibiting from going further with that palace, 64 run out very fast :(
Looks nice Thoy. Your collection definitely beats mine. I currently only have 3 of the sterilite drawers stacks and one Nail/Screw sorting bin for the smaller pieces....and I have put off Bricklink until January as well....what a sad day. Very glad to hear the palace won't be completely scrapped, it looks very interesting!

glad you have a Lego room, too! A place to build in peace an de stress! Hey are they going to decide which of us is going to round three? Nice room and stock of bricks!
I think Matt did a runner LOL... Saw our entries and was like "Darn i'm outa here!". The anticipation is killing a few others waiting for his deciding vote too, o'well - the more it kills the less we'll have to face ;)
