A creation built for round one of the 2011 MIT Competition. This round is against Bailey Joseph. And here is a link to my opponent's build. The category is "Utopian Mircoscale - Build an ideal community or society in a scale smaller than minifigure". My build for the category depicts an ideal, "Utopian", metropolis, complete with Monorail, housing, parks, and alternative energy production.
This is a quality micro-city. However, one picture does not take us on a tour of your city to show us it's features, such as the 'alternative energy'. Both are solid builds, but your opponent gets my vote.~H
Both entries are well-built and strikingly similar in many ways, providing what a 'typical' utopian metropolis might provide. I would have like to see more pics and descriptions, pointing out the different features of the city. In that regard, Bailey got that advantage. Your opponent got my vote.
