About this creation
Maschinen Krieger ZbV 3000 starfighter.

From Wikipedia:
"Maschinen Krieger (Ma.K ZBV3000) is a science fiction universe created by Japanese artist and sculptor Kow Yokoyama in the 1980s.

The franchise originally began as the science fiction series SF3D which ran as monthly installments in the Japanese hobby magazine Hobby Japan from 1982 to 1985.

To develop the storyline, Kow Yokoyama collaborated with Hiroshi Ichimura as story editor and Kunitaka Imai as graphic designer. The three creators drew visual inspiration from their combined interest in World War I and World War II armor and aircraft, the American space program and films such as Star Wars, Blade Runner and Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior.

Inspired by the Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) model builders who worked on the Star Wars vehicles and spacecraft, Yokoyama built the original models from numerous kits including armor, aircraft, and automobiles.

The designs were predominantly of Powered Armor Suits, but Yokoyama's designs later included bipedal walking tanks and aircraft with anti-gravity systems."

The unusual wings are indeed spray painted - but I did it a work using the oficial colour matched LEGO paints so it's not like I cheated right?

Okay, I admit it. I ruined these elements... sorry everyone I guess my LEGO purity has slipped.

Ced, he DOES work for LEGO, look at the tag under his name. Either that, or it's LEGOland... but anyway, nice model! Very unique, in my opinion.

I'm a little sad at your fall from purity, but that transgression is far overshadowed by the rest of this otherwise wonderful build. I absolutely love the shape of the craft, with the engines out on those spindly struts, and your use of the dinosaur heads is extremely clever. I like the smoothness of the ship as well. Great job!

This, I have to say, is amazing. Very well done, especially with the smoothness of the build.

This is a whole new diemension of purist! It's not really purist, but maybe like... Pre-purist or something... Weird. But awesome, if LEGO company has you use those spray paints, the I guess it IS purist, except it uses super rare parts. One more thing, I wanted to ask an employee, just so I could tell anyone that asks me - is writing on LEGO with a LEGO pen purist? Would it fall into the category of heavy stress (like minifig hand in lever base)?

I'm a LEGO Employee (A Designer in Billund) so I took this MOC into work and sprayed it with the paints LEGO has made for us Designers to use on LEGO pieces during the Design process. Sorry, I didn't mean to imply these paints are available to buy anywhere. (MOC Pages have given us a little bar under our avatars so you can tell we are LEGO Employees, though I'm not sure there are many of us on here!)

Very Unique! I would never have chosen those colors, nor that design but I think that's why I like it so much. Its so unlike most other builds here that it is like a breath of fresh air. Your style is deceptively complex yet looks so simple. I admire your building abilities. If you have a moment, please take a look at my Flying Rhino as I would greatly appreciate any tips you could think of to improve it.
