I gave up on this a while ago and have no intention of finishing it, but Its been collecting dust so I thought I'd pop it on here
About this creation
Front

Side

Underside

(Before I forget, the glove box opens, but I didn't get a picture of it)
This is something I'd wanted to do for a while, this passenger-side green lever can be flicked up to open the hood, which is attached to the chassis by dampened shockabsorbers, so it opens gradually

like so, and pushed closed until it clicks

I've yet again tried quite hard to get a decently realistic interior, and this is my favourite, see the centre console armrest?

Lift it up and there's some cup-holders!!

The drivers side features an adjustable steering column with an indicator stalk and flappy paddles, and pedals which move on a rubber band (so they spring back)

Quite proud of how the exhaust and diffuser turned out

But not as proud as I am of the engine bay

And finally, the headlights, I was never happy with them, no matter how many times I tried, I still think they look too FORD GTish

This is looking really good, but the front needs a little more work on it. You should keep building this, the detail in the interior and engine bay is excellent. I think it would look really great if you completed |

It's a shame you didn't continue with this - the only real problem is the bulkiness at the front, everything else is great. |

The interior seats armrest etc... and functiony bits are excellent. The front proportions need help, though. Maybe not so tall? |

... oh sorry, I just re-read your intro. I though you said you had every intention of finishing it. Shame, but I am sure your next creation will be even better. |

Welcome back Ben :). This is looking seriously cool. I love the shape of the front grill. The armrest and exhaust look great too. This is going to be one of your best me thinks.
... If it ever gets finished

You were very ambitious to try and recreate this car, well done for trying. I notice a lot of the nice Aston Martin details like the front grille and the detail on the front wing. Incredible you squeezed the V12 in the front but i think that's what causes the problem of the front looking a bit too bulky. So what project is this car being scrapped for?
Nothing really, I just don't have the time to finish it off |
