This is the K3-M1 Ulfr, (this is not a real tank, so don't get confused) and it is used by the Andoran military as an LDT (Light Drop Tank). It is one of the most technologically advanced tank in the world to date, and most of its systems are classified.
About this creation
The K3-M1 Ulfr LDT (Light Drop Tank) is a tank designed to fit inside of a military plane and be dropped onto the battlefield from a low run of about 60 feet up. It lands safely on the ground with the help of a a drag chute and is then ready for the crew to start the engines up and offer ground support.
Armor: Depleted Uranium, Explosive Reactive, ASPRO-A (couter measure), Classified, Classified.
Weapons: 1 160mm Main cannon, 1 .42 caliber MG placement, 4 flare launchers, 2 guided anti-armor missiles or free-flight rocket pods in retracting launchers.
Crew: 2, Driver and gunner.
Top Speed: 54 MPH
Operational Range: Classified.
Fuel Capacity: 730 gallons
Engine: Classified.
Weight: 68 short tons

A close up look at the top of the tank.

The 160mm main cannon can fire many different types of ammunition, from incendiary and explosive to gas and smoke rounds.

Open gunner hatch.

Closed gunner hatch.
The gunners turret swivels a full 360 degrees and can go 50 degrees straight up or at a 20 degree downward angle.

I wish I remembered to take a picture of the suspension in action before I demolished this beauty... :(

Just a place for the crew to store their operational gear.

The tank has a 112 degree range of motion on either side of the tank, A little more than most modern tanks can do.

Absolutely well done! Cool design and a no-nonsense look. Looks like it could be a very good platform for various weapons :-) |

Really cool! When the tank was assembled, was the suspension independent for each wheel or were the connected. I am building a tank, and I want to see how people build independent suspension.
The only way I know how to do independent suspension would be to big for a minifig size tank, I have 2 wheel rims connected by one rod (this is greatly simplified by the way) and rock back and fourth on another bar in the middle. |

Very nice! How do you do the suspension though???I love tanks and really want to know.
I'll upload my suspension design in a seperate moc, i got that question a few times now, there are other tank suspension designs, but this one really works for me. |

Its so compact, it's almost the futuristic smart car of tanks. I really like this design, and the suspension makes it even cooler. |

It should work fine against most tanks, I dont see how your armor doesnt need slope. Still the shape is very awsome, even without total slope. I think that it could be handy in large numbers, but other than that, a single one of these tanks couldnt defeat two conflict tanks, Belgi Lotus, and Tongorian SK-8s. They are bigger, better armed, armored. I can see you capable of building a bigger tank in the future though.
It doesnt need total sloping because of the composite and classified armor it has, this new armor system can stop almost anything short of a large bomb, the downside is that its very heavy, this tank is smaller than the abrams (i use the abrams as a standard) but weighs about the same, and the abrams is a heavy tank for its size. sadly, this new armor only works on smaller vehicles, this tank is about as large as i can apply it just because of its sheer weight. while it only has three armaments, the main cannon, HEAT missiles and the gunner, it makes up for it in counter measures. while one is classified and its the best one, the other is ASPRO-A, read about it here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trophy_(countermeasure). between the two very little can hit it. while it lacks in size, it makes up for it in sheer strength. Its also very expensive to make, it costs about 7,000,000. |

The Abram's tank's turret is sloped on the front and sides.the challanger 1 and 2 have frontal turret sloped armour the sides are flat. The german leopard 2 has sloped on armour in an arrow shape on the turret also with V shape steal on the sides. |

this also has sloped armor, but i couldn't slope it all the way in the front without heavy reconstruction of what i already had done. plus, i didnt notice this before now, its nearly identical to the abrams in contour and shape, beside the turret, which has shorter slopes than the abrams. |

oh, that kind of sloped. next time say sloped armor. Its armor is no less sloped than an Abrams plus with the new armoring i have on it, it doesnt need to be sloped, VERY hard to kill It'll take quite a beating before it goes out. The only downside is with all its technical systems theres only room for three in the tank. plus i completely forgot to take pictures of the interior before i cannibalized it... :(

Quite spiffy. Maybe a tad bit on the large side, but the shaping is great and it just looks like a very capable tank.
I made it two studs wider than other tanks of the same scale because i wanted it to have a larger wheelbase so its harder to knock over (not that a tank would need it), it just felt like one more security feature to make a safer ride. |

This tank will not be open for trade anytime soon as it is very advanced and most of its systems are classified. Most everything on it is a state secret.

wonderful tank, turret doesnt seem to be sloped enough, but the shape is incredible.
