Heroica + Halo = Haloica?
About this creation
Sooo... have you heard about the LEGO board games? How about LEGO's adventure board game Heroica?
Well, they come with these neat little "microfigures" that are great for making custom board games and dioramas. So I thought I'd make decals for them...

A hastily-built Blood Gulch board (aka Coagulation or Hemmorhage, which are kind of disgusting names if you ask me) for a hypothetical "Haloica" version of Heroica. Presumably one would also wish to generate custom rules and such, which I did not do.

Not the best impression of a Blood Gulch fort ever, but hey, I built it entirely from memory. Didn't have any screenshots to go by (my Internet was down).

Capture the Flag has never been so exciting! The red and blue decals are based on classic Halo 1 armor. COMBAT EVOLVED FOREVER!

The potential for microfig-scale castles is also there, if you're more interested in other genres...
You know, with such big square blocks and weird-looking people walking around in them, microfig scale feels almost like Minecraft.

Close-up of some of the decals. This is why it pays to have a very good printer (details!).

"You mean we have to stick our guns on top of our heads? That's just weird..."
If you can think of some good rules to a LEGO Haloica game, send 'em in or post them on my forums!
Like my custom minifigs? Please feel free to make your own with decals from my Decal Shop!

I'm planning on purchasing the Microfig clone decals (which by the way look AWESOME). Awesome scenario there, really gives a nice touch to the whole microfig thing.Btw,could u post a sample photo of how the clone decal looks in a microfig? That way I can assure my uncle that I'm purchasing it.I would surely appreciate it. |

Now this is what I call creative, not only is the part design rather original but the idea of a LEGO Halo board game hasn't even been touched! (That I know of.) Great job on those custom stickers too, I need to get some sticker print sheets from staples one of these days. Start putting actual license plates on my cars. Epic Job! |

Go across the board, steal a flag, an make it back. Roll reg. #s , roll a four and kill two spaces away. spawn at the start once killed.
Regular Spartan-Move Five spaces.
EOD-Takes to shots to get killed.
Scout-Moves one extra space.
CQB-Move one space and knife, killed one space away.
ODST-Kills three spaces away.
All abillities rolled on four. See if possible to make star wars too. AWESOME moc. :) |

Hey, Scorp. Awesome Idea! I made rules for a deathmatch, which would work for Haloica! I also made rules for vehicles that 'figs can ride in, like the Warthog. I will eventually make a 'Hog. Could you check out my stuff?! |

I get the feeling that you could make a nice side line of "board games" to be sold from your website. Have you considered making a "Nova Refuge" or a "So You Wanna Be An Adventurer" board game yet? For Nova Refuge, you could build micro-scale mechs and vehicles (which, coming from you, would be incredible)! |
