The Mars M1A1 is a fourth-generation main battle tank produced in the Tongoria. The Mars is a well armed, heavily armored, and highly mobile tank designed for modern armored ground warfare. Notable features of the tank is the adoption of Snake-skin armor which is even more powerful and lighter than Chobham, and separate ammunition storage in a blow-out compartment for crew safety. With a weight of close to 55 tons, it is one of the lightest main battle tanks currently in service. The Mars M1A1 entered service in 2025, replacing the X-56 Mk.I and Mk.II. In the chance that the Mars does suffer damage resulting in a fire in the crew compartment, the tank is equipped with a halon fire-suppression system that automatically engages and extinguishes fires in seconds.
About this creation
Specifications:
Main gun: XM-160 160mm smoothbore (50 rounds)
Secondary: M117 weapon-station with 12-7mm minigun
Armor: Snake-skin, Arcade APS
Engine: Zexo TLC-1500 multifuel
Fire-control system: X-56 Mk.III optimized for Mars

First, start with a 360 view.

I really like this profile shot.

Close up on the 160mm main gun. It fires a big variety of rounds including Sabot rounds, shotgun rounds for anti- infantry role(1600 balls) and a Sabot round combinated with an armor-piercing round called Arrow. The sabot penetrates the armor then the armor-piercing blow up inside. The gun has an effective range of 10 km.

The turret of the tank is made out of Snake-skin too. The Arcade active-protection system is also shown here. Fore-control system's cameras are equipped with FLIR and thermal technology and have 40x zoom

The shaping on the turret’s front looks amazing in my opinion.

Arcade APS is designed to protect the tank from attacks of anti-tank guided missiles launched from the ground and by attack helicopter, sabot rounds and lightweight anti-tank grenades (such as RPG).

M117 weapon sation is a fully automatic turret. Can be controlled by human or robotics and its radars provide a full 360 scan.

Its Zexo TLC-1500 multifuel engine provides 1500 hp and a maximum speed of 80 MPH on road and 45 MPH off-road. With this engine it has a range of 510 km

Next to the tanks used by the Tongorian Army. On the right is a new light-weight prototype that can be air-dropped.

I have uploaded the Montrovian import version of the Mars tank! I made a few minor changes and it is designated T-100 in the Montrovian military.

Quoting Dr. Spontaneous The ERA atop the hull and turret would seem conflicting with the intended safety qualifications granted the small explosions would shoot debris and distribute kinetic energy to the sensors and thinly armored top layer of armor (most tanks are thinnest at the top for obvious reasons); plus, if the blow-out panels engaged, there'd be a ton of secondary explosions from the ERA mounted on them. But that's just nitpicking. This is a really well-designed tank and the front turret glacis looks quite sexy. Overall, well done!
There's no explosive reactive armor on it. This is how the snake-skin armor looks, but yes, it looks like ERA.

Looks good, Belgica already uses dragon skin on infantry, We are still working on a good armor type for the AP lotus. I like your newest tank the best. I would also like to see a better view of the airdropable tank.

Awesome tank Matthew! This one Montrovia will need to import! Also, could you add instructions for your new helicopter so we can import it as well?
