Titan and Poseidon - Entry 8 - LDD WIP - Second encounter
20850 parts! Thanks to my new Radeon HD6970! =)
About this creation
This is probably the last time you see them together in LDD!
A big stress for my PC! I had to fix several times LDD, that was not starting anymore... It was just because I had "cut and pasted" my Titan submarine into the Poseidon model....

But I've eventually managed to do it and it's very smooth, now the 2 MOCs are together in the same file! The details on LDD are on "full" and I'm in a resolution of 1600*1050.
So I guess I have potential, with my updated computer, to design Poseidon like I want...
(excepted the price!!! :-$)

For all who asked, the actual Titan submarine mesures 148 centimeters and weighs 21 kilograms. My Pc is a core 2 duo E8400 @ 3 Ghz, with 6 Gigs of RAM, a RAID 0 hard drives system, and a RADEON HD6970.

Hope you like the new (red!) turbines system(not finished) of Poseidon!
=)

Quoting Nate B wow...how to you get that nice curve for the stern and the front?
Simply tones of slopes and quite lot of patience! This technic is really simple, and my hulls are really strong. Same technic as for Titan submarine. : )

Quoting Henrik Hoexbroe I certainly AM following your big project. I was there already from the beginning, from the very first WIP installment ;-) The "curved hull" technique that I use -which lends itself particulary well to big ships like this one, would not allow you to do as much interior detailing as you are doing here... Looking forward to the next update.
Thanks Henrik! Very happy about that! You're among the builders whose opinions are counting very much for me! =)

Quoting Deus Otiosus Well, I'm glad your computer isn't dead. I'm worrying all the time if your computer explodes... I'd be careful if I were you.
hahahaha! That's not very fair if you laugh at me because I'm talking about my pc! Lots of people asked! ;-)
