About this creation
My entry for Round 3 of the 2011 MOColympics against António Silva, my opponent.
The category was "A Hospital? What Is It?" from the comedy movie, Airplane!
The actual quote from the movie goes:
Dr. Rumack: You'd better tell the captain we've got to land as soon as we can. This woman has to be gotten to a hospital.
Elaine: A hospital? What is it?
Dr. Rumack: It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now.
I was completely stuck for this category, as I haven't seen the movie and had no ideas. After four or five days of thinking, I came up with my first half-good idea. It's a big building with patience, but that's not important right now.

Butterfly!

I know that this is far from my best, but I suck at modern day buildings, and I don't enjoy building them that much either. Don't you think medieval buildings are so much more interesting?
I doubt I'll go any further, not with an entry like this and an opponent like António. but When I started, getting to round 3 was my goal, so I'll be happy to drop out here.
Good luck to António and all the other contestants!

Yeah, sorry man. You're opponent beat you out on this one. Hold your head high though. For building something you weren't comfortable with you did a great job! ~ Chris.
Quoting Mr. Xenomurphy
I'm sorry, but my vote goes to your opponent. There's some nice stuff to see here, but it's obvious that your're really not happy with modern day buildings. I remember your "CountrySide Inn" (small but brilliant). It would have been so nice to see a medieval hospital.
Well, I didn't expect to get past this round, and I'm pleased with getting this far. Thanks for hosting this contest, guys! It's been alot of fun! |

Personally I would have done an asylum, I tend to build really twisted things :). This is awesome though and it looks really cool I like all the details inside. Good luck! |

Modern buildings are quite hard to make (or just building in general), especially if you are used to making medieval mocs. However you have been creating alot of interesting mocs recently, and I think that this hospital might have potential. |

Love the spots of blood, they are good red accents in the overall white build. Nice to see you went the extra mile with the pathway to the entrance, thumbs up on that! Good luck with your judges. |

Great work LWC. I can truly understand your thoughts about modern buildings. You get credits though for giving it a shot! And a pretty good one at that! |
