Lieutenant Chaser- Return to Geonosis
We are going back, back to that hell hole. There was no point trying to fight it or in injuring ourselves intentionally during training so we couldn't participate. I just notified my squad, went to visit Snatcher in the sick-bay and then prepared my armour. Whilst on leave I changed my armour to my favourite colour- purple. I hope that Hotshot, Kicker, Rusty, Kye, Ace and Spark will be ready for this mission- it is our first in the 316th and I want to show the 316th that we survived what the rest of the 89th didn't for a reason.

CT-03-2011 was part of the 200,000 troopers from the 457th Corps to take part in the Battle of Geonosis. He survived the battle and was moved in to the 89th Legion within the 457th Corps. He was nicknamed 'Chaser' after his determination to reach his target- no matter what it is or how long it would take to reach.
Chaser participated in campaigns on Bakura, Bal'demnic and Rhen Var before being sent back to Kamino for further training. During this time he learned how to use the Slicer tool and how to wield a Vibro-Knife.
After his training Chaser was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and was assigned a squad of 3 Clones Troopers who became the founding troopers of Raptor Squad. Following several successful operations on Nar Shaddaa, Cularin and Gand he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and put in command of 6 Clone Troopers.
He and Raptor Squad accomplished several important missions on Manaan and Nelvaan and survived the destruction of the 89th Legion. Before the return to Geonosis, they were moved into the 316th Legion.
Mission 10- Geonosis; a Sandbox from Hell
Mission Briefing: Welcome home. Our last successful operation had brought the CIS presence of Nelvaan to its knees, favorably paving a route directly to Geonosis and other Separatist systems that are occupy the sector. The local roaches inhabiting the forsaken rock had been boldly resistant to Republic domination of their homeworld, but it was only until now that the GAR has been required to intervene. One by one, Republic communications outposts have dropped out of communications, gradually spreading from an initial source. In a matter of days we had lost contact with every last base of operations on the system; evidently our troops had been wiped out. The Jedi Council, along with the approval of the Senate, have launched a full planetary invasion in an attempt to regain possession of Geonosis. Jedi Master Unduli has successfully broken through to the ground of the system and made first contact with a Confederate presence. Intelligence reports that CIS Archduke Poggle the Lesser has been attempting to regain control over his planet, as well as have the god forsaken rock host his latest endeavor at a battledroid factory. This is what our previous operations have been leading up to - while we had been busy wreaking havoc back on Nelvaan, the GAR had been closing in on Geonosis when the Separatist blockade spilled from Hyperspace. Our previous garrison of troops were boxed in. The 457th Corps has been assigned to pick up the pieces and clean up what Unduli's forces left behind. Our primary objective is to dismantle the orbital fleet chaperoning the system, and regroup with our forces on the ground. Master Kenobi will be leading the 457th in an attempt to breach the CIS lines stationed on the surface and launch a full-scale attack on Poggle's primary fortress, housing multiple B1 Battledroid Foundries deep below the surface. Evidently, some fools do not know when to stay beaten. May the force be with us all!
Mission 10.1- Hit and Run Tactics
Mission Briefing: The Quarra had intercepted a Separatist distress call upon its descent to the surface of Geonosis. It is assumed that the Confederate Navy is attempting to call in reinforcing troops from the ground to assist in repelling the 457th from Geonosis. The transmission was tracked back to a specific Lucrehulk-Class Droid Battleship currently being assaulted in the heat of the battle. Their communications array has been temporarily knocked out, due to the success of the Champion. There is only a small opportune time for your squads to intervene. As the only available soldiers at hand, this task will require the elite training of our Lieutenants. Central command will require your squad to lead an LAAT/i barrage to make the first strike before the battleship is given the liberty to repair the communications array. Target the Central Core and preform your ambition. This is a hit-and-run operative!
After our successful capture of Nelvaan we had the foothold we needed to reach Geonosis which had been retaken by the CIS. As soon as we arrived we realized one thing: the CIS fleet over Geonosis was huge and needed to be destroyed.
Whilst the bulk of the 316th piloted ARC 170 Starfighters into the battle, us Lieutenants were given the privilege of piloting LAAT/i Gunships. A Lucrehulk-Class Droid Battleship's communications array had been destroyed and it was time for us to strike.
My piloting was a little rusty but I managed to find an opening in the ship's armour, some sort of hangar area. I flew into it and fired the rockets of my craft into its core. Then it was time to get the hell out of there.
Mission 10.2- Eliminating the Virus
Mission Briefing: The success of our previous operative had crippled the central structure of the Separatist blockade and severed their formation. This had permitted the Arbiter to deploy a single pair of DR90 Corellian Corp. Blockade Runners to break for the surface. The Corvettes had intended to bring vital aide to the 707th on the ground and deliver supplies and a full company of troops to the battlefield. The ship itself was succumbed to an infestation of Droch-Class Boarding Ships which have pierced the hull, spilling hundreds of Pistoeka Sabotage Droid Units into the white corridors of the Corellian architecture, bringing nothing but chaos and destruction along with them, knocking out the life support systems along with reserve power. The crew stationed onboard the station is drastically outnumbered and require assistance! Your squad is to regroup with the CR90 at its current resting place and board the ship at the hangar. Clear the vessel of all hostile forces and restore the power.
After the success of the last Mission, the Republic was able to deploy 2 Corellian Blockade Runners to reach the surface of Geonosis and aid the 707th Legion. Unfortunately the craft was overcome by Droch Boarding Ships carrying payloads of Buzz Droids. They were set loose on the ship and its crew- taking out major support systems whilst wiping out the crew. Our Mission was clear.
We boarded the ship (which would have been incredible easy even if we were being fired upon) and set-off down the corridors. We found a whole bunch of the little buggers cutting a section of the wall off and preparing to hack into the ship's wiring. One shot killed one but the other 2 are still in their pods, guess we will have to use some grenades...
Mission 10.3- The Sands of Geonosis
Mission Briefing: We have been hit! The ship is lost and cannot provide relief effort to the 707th. With the engines out, the craft has descended to the surface and was pummeled on impact. After recent evaluation, there is little to be salvaged from the wreckage. Your most logical objective would to seek assistance and move towards territory occupied by the Grand Army of the Republic. Unfortunately, as the Arbiter reports the lost craft had descended into the E'Y-Akh desert, we are unable to provide an extraction unit to reach your troops. Gather what surviving crew found at the wreck of the CR90 Blockade Runner and move across the rugged dune sea towards a Geonosian Isolation Camp. Through recent reports, it is believed this faction of conceding worker's caste stand apart from normal Geonosian society. The camp may provide refuge and medical aid for the troops. Nonetheless, as the E'Y-Akh desert is located within deep Separatist ground, you may encounter difficulty when moving into position. There have been multiple insurgents and military checkpoints sighted in the area, which forces you to fight your way through the desert to your destination. We may only hope that this isolation camp will open a few straggling Republic Clone Troopers with open arms. Or, more specifically, open appendages.
As we eliminated the last of the Buzz Droids on the Blockade Runner, our ship was hit and we crashed on the surface. The 707th wasn't getting any help from us.
Command told us to move towards a Geonosian Isolation Camp where we would hopefully find assistance. I had my doubts, but some of my men needed help immediately.
As we trudged through the E'Y-Akh desert, Kicker spotted a Droid outpost in the distance. Clearly they hadn't been told the battle was over. I sent the troops that could run to draw fire away from the wounded and closed in on the outpost with a rocket launcher. Even Hotshot was impressed with the explosion- why do Droids always leave explosives out in the open?
