"Life here began out there"
That's what she said to her boy
She stranded on the island years ago, she was pregnant, giving birth to a boy all by herself she was too exhausted to attempt any escape from the island
From the wreckage of the ship a raft could be build, but she does not know how and has not the strenght to do it, let alone to sail it, her boy often asks what it was for
She decides it is good on the island, her boy is safe from the evil out there

My first intention was to build some scifi alien stuff but It didn't feel good, second approach was a large aquarium with big fish in it that looked out through a window at the sea (the fish life began out there) but it was a bit too difficult to realize, didn't have enough parts to make the forced perspective.
So eventually I decided to go for an island, I always wanted to make one and actually I often did, they never made it to the pages though.
Anyway, I plan to recycle this island a couple of times, for some scenes from POTC perhaps, maybe I'll make it a inhabitet island, a port. And island such as this offers so many possibilities ;)

you island is great and the surrounding enviroment, and i agree with you an isle like that can be recyclet many times, (but mostly for the pirate theme) but what i love most about this moc is diffently your wrecked ship, its really great, i love it, nice shipwreck and nice island, and as always, a great moc, keep it up |

Though you are moving on, my vote went to your opponent. The island is great and the shipwreck is a nice detail, but it needed more, like some shelter for it's occupants. Congrats none the less and welcome to Round 3!~H |

Wow, nice entry. I was actually thinking of doing the same thing for my entry but I am really bad at making water with Lego :P I still haven't completely decided what I want to do but it looks like I have some tough competition. Good luck dude! |

Nice job. I would place flat blue tile bricks onto the blue baseplates to make it look like flat water. Or, place white and light blue tiles closer to the shore to make a tide effect. |

Not bad. Would like to see a little more detail work but overall not too bad! I really like the shipwreck though. I'd say it's my favorite part of this MOC. Nice entry and good luck! |
