huh, very interesting. this is a lot more of what I envision "Eastern Mechs" as being, sort of a Samurai look. the design could use a little work on the smaller details, but otherwise I really like this.

Well, being offline or online doesn't affect quality, in all honesty, unless you're building in DBM, it doesn't matter at all. So, don't hold it against yourself. Compatibility mode can be turned on in the preferences menu, use this to build faster. Once you're ready to take snap shots, you can turn off compatibility mode, then turn on the advance rendering options. Having those options on allows for much better rendering and 'lighting' effects. Also, you can take snapshots in Build Mode, just close the side panels before you take a picture though for the best size possible, then hit Ctrl and K at the same time or by clicking the option in the Toolbox menu. The reason I mention this is that by taking picture in Build Mode, even if you are unable to turn on the Advance options, you can take pictures without the LDD backgrounds. This way you can have neutral backgrounds or add graphics. If you need any more tips on how to make LDD produce higher quality snapshots, let me know. Also, don't compare yourself to MD and Myself, I don't want you to look down on your own work, because it's good. Also, it took me some tinkering with LDD to learn the tricks I know now, and it's why explain to other LDD builders these tips.
Thanks for the tipp.Currently I have to work in offline mode. But I hope that I can upload something soon. I am currently trying to make good photos of my models but I still have problems with it. I still need to learn much more until I'm doing such good work as you or mithril.

Ouch, I understand the Internet issue, as my Mom doesn't have access, so when I go home, I'm cut off. Have you tired compatibility mode? it's designed to lower the quality of the MOCs in order to allow less powerful systems to use LDD faster. You could build in that, the use higher settings for taking Snapshots, it's similar to what I do. Also, let me know when you get around to posting something, oh and while I am here, I finally got around to posting, well, reposting, a MOC page so you can finally see something I made, figured you would like that.
