Too many awesome things to mention! The trees and bison are winners. But the river is also very well done. I can't detect a pattern in the placement of the flat tiles, but rather than looking haphazard it looks like it really flows. Nice job! |

The Teepees and Buffaloes are awesome! But I don't think American Indians were known for sailing vessels, and Totem poles were erected by coastal tribes way in the Northwest. But overall the build is gorgeous. |

Masterfuly done! P.S. is this in Canada, or the U.S.A.?
This is located in LEGO world. :) Not made to be historically accurate what someone mentioned, but to be fun. ;) I was actually thinking of combining it all in one diorama but than put a legend and description what does it means (historically) - so that kids could learn something the fun way.

Everyone seems pretty happy with this but I am compelled to point out that you have neatly encapsulated every Hollywood stereotype about First Nations in Canada. Bison and totem poles together? Those should be two thousand kilometers apart with a few dozen other cultures in between. Even Playmobil sets are better researched than this. I mean, I'm not asking for historical accuracy, it is LEGO after all, just the slightest hint of cultural awareness and sensitivity. |

I no longer understand this amazing project of yours... Do you intend to assemble all your western creations in a huge diorama? Are you keeping them assembled? Anyway, each of your (western) creations is so colour and detail full...
Thanks! And yes, I keep those all assembled. It's been on display in Zagreb and Skaerbaek. The grand finale will be next year and diorama will measure 200 32x32 baseplates. :) Don't worry, I will put it on MOCpages. ;) |
