Ok this is obvviously my second entry to Mr. Xenomurphy's First Exclusive Timelord Contest. I decided to go with a scene from Doctor Who catagory this time. I know Martha Jones is supposed to be in this episode but I didn't have the pieces for her. UPDATE: Ok since I apparently made this to big I decided to just shorten it rather than make an entire different MOC. To make up for the loss of the Tardis I decided to add some more stuff such as dynamite with detonator, wounded man, new accurate alien heads, and new fig positions. Hope you like the updated version like the first :)

My Judging is complete, here are my comments:
Really nicely made version of the tunnels from the episode and the aliens are pretty close to the fish headed guys from the episode. I had a lot of issues with the plot twist of this episode but I loved the atmosphere and Jenny was awesome – hope she crops up again sometime, you've captured a lot of the atmosphere and although I don't approve of the companion swap but I understand not having the pieces so I didn't count it against you! Cool MOC. |

Chris, I was a bit confused now after I've read the comments. I posted the complete rules (also the 16 x 16 part) here on MOCpages on 31st August under 'Category'. You must have seen it, since you added a comment to that conversation on 16th September. - But I'm only mentioning this, because I'd like to see your original entry also, because it sounds cool. Now back to your entry: Very good texture and colour choice. I always wanted to build the Hath myself and your version is already satisfying. All in all, 8/10 points from me. Really good work, but don't forget the original one. Thanks. I must have missed where you said the dimensions on the MOC pages so I didn't think there were any until after I posted my first version and then looked at the rules on Flickr. I was going to keep one pic of the original design but decided not to but if you want to see it I will upload a pic. Thanks for the rating man :) |

Well it doesn't matter to me what place I get (if I get any) I just like competing since it brings out people's best :) |

You chose the best faces for the minifigs! I haven't seen the episode with the Doctor's daughter. Is she a Timelord, too?
She was made from a skin sample from the Doctor (not willingly given). She can regenerate but she can't change. |

Eh, it's fine. It's a bum you didn't know about it...if you did this would have been a great entry!
I still have it built. I could take it down a notch... |

It says, and I quote: "Build a scene from a Doctor Who episode (old or new, min. 8 x 8, max. 16 x 16)"
Yea on Flickr. But that is obviously not where I posted it or found out about the contest. |

It's only allowed to be 16x16 studs.....This won't qualify. It's still cool though!
Ok I think it should pass since it didn't say it on this site and the fact they didn't tell us to look on Flickr for additional rules. |
