My first real sculpture MOC. How do you think I did?
About this creation
Well, I don't know how popular the WIP really was, but the sculpture is now finished. I made this for an assignment in my AP 3D Portfolio class. We were supposed to make a piece of art based off our favorite current artist. I don't have a favortie artist as I do not pay attention to current art, our past art for that matter. So I chose a LEGO artist. The decision was between Sean Kenney or Nathan Sawaya. I chose Nathan, sorry Sean. So I made a minifigure head with imagination exploding out of his head! Enjoy as my sig fig takes over.

Thanks, well what we have here is Bricker's Imagination, a minifigure head with an explosion of colors out the top representing imagination.

Now we shall do a little rotation.

Some more.

And some more.

AND ome MORE.

Why don't we have my friend Knox add some of his opinion.
Whoa! That's awesome!
Thanks!

Now, lets zoom in on that Minifig head. Well, who else do you think he would have based the head off of?

He even took into consideration on adding this freaky little anteana you don't even see because of my BODACIOUS bounty of hair. OOOOOO! Let's ride the Imagination Erruption.

WHOOOOOAAAAA!
Okay, so enough of that. How did he think to make this sculpture? Well . . .

. . .He got this box, and got inside the box. All of the sudden, he started to build. All he really needed was a little . . .

. . .IMAAAAAGINAAAAAAAATIOOOOOON.
Well, thanks for doing that for me MCLegoboy.
No problem, any time.
Well, that's all for now. Thanks for viewing and don't forget to Rate and Comment!

Thanks for all the positive feedback you guys! It really means a lot. As an artist, it is my obligation to point out the lesser points and hate the piece just for those reasons while the rest works. I am also happy to see some familiar icons, just not familiar to my pages so that is also a good thing. Again, thanks so much you guys.

Brilliant brick-built fun. I think that this looks great and the mini-fig face is a good copy of the original. I like how you stuck to using basic bricks for the Lego imagination explosion. These bricks are what most folk think of as Lego, not cheeses and SNOT, so I think it was very appropriate to use "real" Lego bricks here, with their studs showing. The hidden lever is a great bit of fun too. Excellent & creative modelling. |

Hey, that looks really cool and the proportions of the head are very accurate. Thanks for your comments on my chess board, by the way. |

Maybe the MC stands for MineCraft?
MC stands for nothing. MCLegoboy is just a name I was called once because I brought some minifigures to school in 4th Grade. |
