About this creation

Yay, my first IRL creations to be submitted on MOCPages! This little mech took a while to make due to having to find all the pieces among my crate of Exo-Force stuff, and used up all of my long orange wingtip pieces. Anyways, on with the show!

AEGAKS name: Swiftfire
Pilot name: Ru-Stagon (my AEGAKS personality)
Weapon of choice: Extra-strong razor edged long-shields.
Specials: Flight is enabled by the rear wing engines, and armour is heavily enhanced to protect against all forms of heat.

Close up of the cockpit. The extra orange armour on the sides pops off when the control module ejects.

And finally a rear view.
The cockpit is quite vertically angled, like the original Exo-Force - this was intentional. However, a part on the rear of the mech can fold (this part keeps the top body in the main position) out once the top body is tilted forward. The top body can then tilt back into any other position.

Very nice body shape! Agree with CEO Luiz Camargo that is should have some powerful weapon to match such amazing armored mecha!

The only downsides are the lack of some range weapons, like mounted missiles, cannons or guns. A nice idea is some missiles or cannons under the wings in the arms. The thing in the crotch is awful in the way it is, maybe if you turn it upside down with a little movement (Like I did here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/229721) or change for a smaller one (Reference: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/242046).

yea, to be honest that part was simply there to cover up the crotch area (at this point in time I had pretty much run out of orange armour xD), but note that I originally intended this merely as a test to see how well I could build a AEGAKS. I intend to upgrade it signifigantly when I can nextget hold of it (January time, if I'm lucky).

Thanks for the comments. The piece of armour between his legs is meant to be more of a flexible cloak like thing. I did not add other weaponry as I did not have the time - when I can next modify it (this set and all my Exo-Force stuff lives at my grandparents house so I won't be able to get at it soon) I will be adding a shoulder mounted cannon, and maybe some aerials etc.

Very interesting. The additional armor on the outside of the Pilot Block definitely fits the theme. The orange suits it well, and the wingset is really innovative, but it lacks in some detail. Thrusters, perhaps. I don't like the armor between the legs, because it looks like that might interfere with ground movement. Some tiling and perhaps smoother armor, and this would be one bad unit for sure. Great work and welcome to Project AEGAKS! ^Blub^

Very nice, I love the shoulders and upper-torso area behind the pilot block, which is also pretty dang cool. I rated it a 4 instead of a 5 because it looks like it could use some awesome doodads, like comm equipment or some built in weaponry. Yeah, it definitely needs a few guns.

awesome... absolutely amazing, Jak! outstanding work! where in the galaxy did you get all those orange wing-ish bricks? :P the only negatives I see are that the orange wing brick on the front seems kinda out-of-place and it needs weapons. other than that, great work!
