Welcome to Godwins Hollow's famous West End. The district is known for it's shopping and fine dinning. While it is an established area there are plans for development. A new ice cream shop and trendy loft style apartments are in the works already. You'll also notice in the distance the area's proximity to the old Lockridge Plantation. Now in the midst of negotiations with a major agribusiness conglomerate Lockridge Farms will soon feature some new construction of it's own - hopefully even a farmer's market! As you can see from the photos below Main Street West is home to buildings from some of the world's most famous Lego architects to include L.G. Orlando and Brian Lyles. Check back every now and then to see what's going on down on Main Street West.
About this creation
Sweeping in over the building tops you get a great view of the north side of Main Street West. Here you can see clearly that the architecture on this side of the street is indicative of the city's first boom around the beginning of the last century.

Coming in closer you can see The Green Grocer (home of the freshest produce in town), Jelly's Jazz Cafe, Sid's Scooter Shop, and our very own Grand Emporium rounding the corner.

The south side of Main Street West is home to some much more modern architecture in the form of West End Strip Mall. The mall is home to The End Zone (the town's premier sporting goods store), Prêt à Brique Boutique (high end fashions for the discerning minifig), Flat Rate Courier Services (shipping your stuff across town or across the country), and finally Godwins Hollow Veterinary Clinic (Sydney Godwin, DVM).

Another shot of the strip mall from the other end. Due to a recent city council decision all of the mall's signage had to be removed and is being replaced by signs that are more homogeneous in nature and in line with the street's general aesthetic. Gotta love big government.

Turning back to the north you can get a great view of Jelly's Jazz Cafe and Sid's Scooter Shop.

Rounding the corner is Godwins Hollow's own Grand Emporium.

Continuing around the corner you'll see the lot where our new high end apartments will be going and then Outbrick Steak Restaurant and the Kelly Green Deli. Sitting on the shores of Northside Lake and next to the deli will be The Crab Shack Seafood Restaurant & Pier. The 'Shack' is home to the finest seafood in town.

Finally, at the end of Main Street West is the Red Brick Pizza Oven and The Lovey Cakes Bakery. The brick fired pizza ovens at the 'Brick' serve up the best pizzas this side of well, the moon. Next door, local celebrity baker - Meg 'Sissy' Pellitier - would love to roll out some new custom sweet treats for your next shindig. The empty lot next to Lovey Cakes has been bought by Fuller's Ice Creamery and rumor has it that construction will be completed by Christmas!

The brick was recently renovated by local firm - Dignow Designs. In addition to a state of the art kitchen and an inviting dinning room the Brick is also home to Bill's Bike Shop. Servicing the Brick's bike delivery fleet and all other wheeled but non-motorized vehicles in town.

Here you can see the Crab Shack - really part of Main Street proper versus Main Street West - but still home to the best sea food in town. The GHPD loves to hide out in front of the Shack trying to catch a speeder or two rounding the corner out of Main Street West.

It's a great place to grab a bite for lunch or to try and catch your own lunch.

With a little imagination you can see North Side Lake over which will sit the Hollow's Central Train Station. In the distance you see Chili's, our local Fox affiliate TV2, and the Godwin Bank & Trust's main branch forming the beginnings of Main Street East.

The Lovey Cakes Bakery has started an aggressive expansion campaign centered around their new catering line. We wish them all the best!

Just another look down Main Street West.

Looks like someone either leaving the Green Grocer or maybe about the grab something to eat at Jelly's.

Just a few of the good folks working the farm - formerly Lockridge Plantation. The plantation is in talks with a major agribusiness conglomerate so things on the farm are in a bit of a transitional state at the moment - hopefully the barn, farmhouse, and other buildings will settle back in soon.

Fuller's Ice Creamery is finally open for business. It took a few months to get up and running but the shop has been swamped since opening day. Taking into account it's next door status to the Lovey Cakes Bakery one might say this is your one stop shop for all dessert related shopping. What more could you want? Cake and Ice Cream all in the same corner of town!
Here you can see the Red Brick Oven Pizzaria, the Lovey Cakes Bakery, and Fuller's Ice Creamery rounding out the end of Park Avenue. Main Street proper runs through the middle of town on the north side of the Godwins Hollow City Park. On both sides of the park are two very short side streets - Park Avenue and Park Place.

A street level view of the front side of Fuller's. The facade was designed by the pros over at BrickBuildersPro and has been finished in spectacular fashion.

Here you can see one of the happy employees of Fuller's gladly scooping out another ice cream sundae.

Upstairs there is room to sit and enjoy your ice cream goodies or you can step out on the back porch and enjoy a view of the park.

Another satisfied family - enjoying their treats while overlooking the park.
