Hi. I haven't added a page for a while. However, driven by the Castle Contest over on Classic-Castle.com , I have made a new ballista. It started by trying to take my old Ballista and improve it. This is what I got. Needless to say I didn't like it, and so decided to make a completely new ballista.
This ballista uses real torsion, the same way that real ballistas are powered. A looped sting is twisted, and the power from that twist is the torsion.
