I hope you plan to take plenty of photos before you dismantle it. Especially since I want this as a Story Arc unit. And if you do make the LDD for it, I would be very interested in obtaining it. I do believe that the joint you used there is in the older version of LDD, which I still use. I also have the install file for the older version, if you are interested. ^Blub^

Generally Blub, yes. They are heavy units with limited close quarters weaponry, so a defending unit would be needed.

How very interesting. I really like the overall look of this unit. The are a few changes that I would personally make. But shape and color get high marks. Of course, I suspect that these would require Shiv escorts, yes? ^Blub^

AH, they do have it, its called a "Flex Joint" . . . why its called that when it does not flex I have no idea xD

are you sure? it's pretty uncommon for LDD Extended to not have an existing LEGO piece. :P unfortunately I can't see the hinge piece very well. if I could I'd try to help you find it. :S

Yea, I do have Exntended. I'll try and build one, but it doesn't seem to have the hinges I need (the ones that connect the wings to the main body).
