Rahkshi/Toa hybrid
About this creation
Name: Zaalit
Species: Guurahk/Toa hybrid
Powers: Shadow, Disintegration, Mental link to all living Makuta
Weapons: Dual Pronged Shadow Spear
Mask: Kanohi Asuruu, Rahkshi mask of disintegration
Story: One hundred years after Spherus Magna's Reformation only one Makuta remained that was quite reckless with his Rahi creations. He so reckless that he attempted to combine two opposites, Toa and Rahkshi, to create a mindless assassin under his command. it was successful to the most part, except for the fact that this creation was not mindless but had 100% moral shadow thus was pure evil. that fact would become its only weakness. On its first mission the assassin was commanded to attack a caravan guarded by a newly transformed team of Toa. After a long battle the assassin was defeated after killing all but two Matoran and two Toa. The remainder of the caravan Traveled to New Atero with the subdued assassin to show it to The leaders of the village, Tahu and Ackar. The Glatorian had no I dea what it was, but Tahu noticed its control over Shadow and handed him over to Takanuva to Use his powers of Light to alter the Assassin's moral composition. after the Moral Light/Shadow was made balance the Creature gained control over his actions. But when he realized what he did he mourned for the Toa and Matoran that he mercilessly slaughtered. When the Toa realized that he was mourning they let him join their toa team. Later they decided to give him a name, Zaalit, which means, in the Matoran tongue, The Revived.

Fourth wall commentary: My inspiration for this MOC came from LEGOJANG's MOCs the Rilovans. I wanted to create an entire new species. I made three variations but This one was the only one that I didn't quickly scrap for parts. so I decided to change this guy's story from a farmer on a distant planet to a former assassin turned Toa.

You can find the Rilovans at http://www.bionicle-untold.com/search/label/rilovians

Not bad, he's a bit too simple for my taste, and some extra armor and greebles could definitely make this MOC come alive more.

Quoting Andrew AKA Hump-Free Hey Man, Thanks For Joining HFR!!!, Means A Lot. Anywho, onto the MOC. I found that your MOC was one of the more basic Bio MOCs I have reviewed, which some times simpler shaping and structures are indeed the way to go, I've seen over complicated structures making for awkward design aspects. However, I feel like this may be too basic, at first glance it gives the same vibe that the Offical LEGO Toa had, in terms of structure, which would rub some avid Bio builders the wrong way. However, I feel like you have some very nice design ideas and potential for adding more, for instance, the use of the attached ball joint for the shoulders is a nice idea, leaving that socket open to add features, such as the fin you have currently. Another feature you have that even the more avid builders forget or don't care enough to make is the weapons holster, honestly sometimes people make a arsenal of weapons, but without indicating where the weapons are stored. So, while I feel that you have some nice features, I feel that the simple design would be a turn off for most Bio builders, that doesn't mean what you made isn't nice, in actuality seeing that you appear to be new here, and hoping to start a storyline, the basic character has so much room to change and refine that I'm sure you'll pick or come up with new ideas for A V2, and if this MOC is featured in the story you can alter the MOC as the story progresses, allowing the MOC to grow with the story. So, overall, I feel that the basic structure may turn people off, but at the same time leaves you with a lot of room to change and refine the MOC into later versions as you pick up more tricks.
Well I was planning on a simple design, but was focusing on features not complexity.
