Kit Fisto's prototype assault bomber, the Trident
About this creation
Hey all, this is my 10th moc!! Enjoy.
This is the Republics newest weapon in the war against evil... the Trident Assault Bomber. While the look is a bit reminiscent of the Delta 7 this fighter is bigger, faster, more armored, and just plain deadly. The prototype was given to everybody's favorite Jamaican-esque Jedi Kit Fisto and painted his color of choice. The idea is that each pilot will choose the color to make each one special in an attempt to see if the pilot would take better care of the ship and save the republic millions of credits :-) the wing design makes this starfighter more agile then others of its size and allow it to glide silently when delivering its payload. The wings can stay flat for landing, gliding, and normal flight. Then they can be locked at a slant for more agility and attacking. The power that moves this ship comes from a specially designed engine that has one large booster that is fed cold air for both more speed and cooling due to the intakes under each wing. A hyperdrive means this bomber can get anywhere its needed without a carrier vessel. The weapons on board consist of four repeating lasers on the wings, two heavy blaster cannons on each side of the cockpit, and a bomb bay that can drop a variety of bombs of different size and type. A unique feature of this fighter is that behind the pilot, its weapons and other systems can be controlled by a Droid or co-pilot, either of which is protected in a sealed area. This can also be used for supplies if the pilot is alone. Lets check out some pics of kit's new ship...

Thanks to Lego and you for looking, please feel free to comment and rate or both :-)

Hey Man, Glad I Could Help. Anywho, about the MOC, I have to admit, the shape is very nice and has a classic feel to it. But while the ship has a classic style, there are some features that set this apart from the classic feel, and give the MOC its own style. I have to admit, when I saw the wings and hatches open, that caught me by surprise, very nice features. I really like the Idea of having the second cockpit being droid or pilot friendly, makes the unit more versatile. I also like the colors, a break from the normally bright Stars Wars colour schemes that most ships, at least the ones I have seen, have. So, overall, very nice shape you made for the ship, the colour scheme, and the features of the ship are all nicely made and look great. I really don't have any major issue with the MOC personally, Nice work on this. |
