Ground Superiority Combat Armor
About this creation
This is the Laevateinn Combat Armor: Ground Superiority Combat Armor. This vehicle is the first large scale bipedal weapons platform in existence. Standing 22 feet tall, the new Combat Armor is outfitted for land warfare. With superior mobility and firepower compared to a standard main battle tank, the Laevateinn will see much use in its future.

1 - 120mm Rheinmetall Gun
1 - 155mm M198 Howitzer
1 - 7.62mm M134 Minigun

The 120mm Rheinmetall Tank Gun is capable of loading a variety of ammunition including APFSDS and HEAT rounds. The 155mm M198 Howitzer is capable of loading HE and DPICM in a six round canister. The Combat Armor also has a side-mounted 7.62mm Minigun to deal with infantry and light vehicles. As a result, the Laevateinn is highly capable of incapacitating armor and infantry.

The Laevateinn fits perfectly in the conventional tank role, but it can also perform heavy artillery support.

With no specialized anti-air capabilities, Laevateinn depends on auxiliary units to provide support.

The armature system allows the Laevateinn to track targets more easily than turret systems.

The pilot controls the Laevateinn through the use of his arms, verbal commands, and foot pedals.

An external camera and internal virtual screen provides the pilot with enhanced information.

Although the bipedal legs provide superior mobility, they require armor to protect their fragile joints.

As some others have said the feet aren't great but I think the rest certanly makes up for that. Though as to its being able to thrash my T-44 it would be a close match. Mine has heavy armor and a wide varity of weapons, and yours has lighter armor but very heavy firepower. Anyways it's a great mech!

I don't usually like Hard suit type robots, but this one has some really cool features. I love the look of the Revolver gun/arm, that's a beauty! The legs look great, especially the feet, look like they can support it realistically. Thanks for the review of my MoC by the way!

*eye begins to twich* holy moly.. this is very, very cool. i love the utilitarian look, the weapons.. oh everything! yes, that includes the legs, i like how they are "bent" at the knee to emphasise the weight on them.

The feet are not to my liking, but they do not detract from a brilliant design. Good job. Lee.

I saw this and some how automaticaly thought of your other mocs just because of the design of the mech. Anyway I'm sure you meant for the legs to look like for some reason, so I'm gonna leave it alone. But above all great moc, like all your others.

Essentially, a great Mechsuit design but looking at it from a proportionate perspective, it appears a little clumsy and possibly top heavy. On the plus side, the armourments look very impressive (something I've noticed you have a certain flair for!) and the colour blend is great. In addition, any mech seems to benefit from having at least one exposed conduit/pipe somewhere on it so, all told, another good Mechsuit.

Man, that is one awesome battle suit. The only fuss I have is, like the first guy said, the feet are weird. It seems like the legs should be rotated the other way. But I'll assume you were trying to be different here. Still very nice.

Wow...excellent job! Great detailing...its hard to belive there's a mini-fig in there. Not sure about the feet, but that's just my opinion. Nice work!
