Thror and Thrain
These are Thor and Thrain II, kings of Durin's folk and the grandfather and father of Thorin II Oakenshield, one of the most famous dwarves in Middle Earth. Tror had been king under the Lonely Mountain for a very long time, but the dragon Smaug discovered the halls of Erebor. Soon after that he decided to go to the Mines of Moria, but he was killed by the orc chief Azog. This caused a long war between the goblins of the Misty Mountains and the seven dwarven tribes. The final battle was the Battle of Azanulbizar, where Azog was killed and Thrain lost one of his eyes. After the triumph of the dwarves, Thrain decided to go back to Erebor, but he was captured by the Necromancer. The dwarves tried to rescue him, but they didn't find him. Thrain died, short after Gandalf the Grey found him in Dol Guldur.

Thror and Thrain, why does one have an eyeglass in one of the images? Is that a... third dwarf? Hey, Michael, can you check out my creation? It's pretty recent, thanks: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/298694

I don't really like the hair on Thrain, but besides that they are great! No one has responded to me in the Admin group so I am asking here: Have you decided anything in the Middle-Earth MOColympics yet? I have asked several time but suddenly no one has said anything in the Admin group any more.

Quoting Christopher Baldacci Sweet Michael! I think they look really cool. The hammer for Thrain might be a bit big as far as handles go, and I don't know what to think about using the "Sting" blade (Rogue Biter) for a dwarf but I love the interpretation and the hair/beard combos. You always come up with creative combinations there. Great work!
Thanks for the hints! Now I know what to change, if they appear in my upcoming HOBBIT project.
